4/5 Good

Had a fun time staying here.
On arrival we were a little disappointed. The building from the front does not look as attractive as in the picture of the side of the property. However when we got into the apartment we were pleasantly pleased. The facilities were good and had everything we could need for our week there. The toys and games for the kids were really good and entertained the kids. The only downside was no outdoor space although we knew that when we booked. Great train into Edinburgh and we visited a lot of other places nearby. The town itself doesn't have much except a co-op and fish and chip shop but bigger towns close by. We tried the swimming pool in Burnisland (the next town along) which was good. A few initial problems with the internet and could have done with instructions of how to use the TV but sorted in the end.

Fife Experience
Have just spent a very active and enjoyable week based in the Apartment in Kinghorn. The accommodation proved perfectly adequate and comfortable as a base for exploring both locally and the wider area. Visiting Edinburgh (via the local train station), St. Andrews, Dundee and Sterling (Castle) all achieved and more, whilst we were here. The Owner could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay. Would be more than happy to recommend.

Lovely, spacious flat
Lovely flat. Light and spacious. Well situated for bus stop and train station. Only drawback is no outside space. There was no microwave which we thought quite strange. Lovely base for sightseeing round the country.
