Burning up in Burns

Posted 22-Aug-2016
Lots of firefighters staying here. Make reservations early because it's a busy place. Nice breakfast. Terrible rollaway. Comfortable.

Great hotel. 3rd time we've stayed there. Coffee shop and gas stations close. Desk guy recommended an excellent low cost steakhouse in town, and he was spot-on!

Nice hotel, near to good food

Pros: Location
Location: After a long drive, we didn't need anything more than a hot tub in the afternoon and Mass on Sunday morning
We always look forward to staying here whenever we are passing through town

Amazing employees and Amazing Hotel. I stay about 4/5 times a year, because my son is in the Correctional center. I just wished they had deals(like 20-25% off more often, or even if I stay 2/3 get 1 free. Amazing Breakfast

My husband and I had been on the road a few hours before we checked in to the Rory & Ryan Inn. I really needed to use the restroom and was quite disappointed and disgusted to see hairs on the toilet and garbage on the bathroom floor behind the trash can. I carry antibacterial wipes in my purse and cleaned things up myself. I thought our issues with cleanliness were over until we checked the bed. What did we find? More hair in the bedsheets! We spoke with Ginger at the front desk who was extremely apologetic and offered to change rooms for us. We were taken to another room down the hall and that room wasn't any cleaner! Again, there were hairs on the bedsheets and toilet! Since I had already cleaned room number 1, we decided to stay there after the sheets were changed. My husband and I helped Ginger make up the bed. Although she was very nice, we should have never had to clean up after housekeeping. BE ADVISED IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS HOTEL!!!

Easy to find and friendly

We stayed here twice within a week because it is an odvious stopping place between southern Oregon and Idaho. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel is on the highway and easy to find. The beds were a little too saggy for us so we chose to sleep in separate queens. The continental breakfast is very basic and only served until 9 am. On the plus side, the pool/spa is open 24 hours for adults but only until 10 pm for children. Burns/Hines is not a destination resort town so the hotels and restaurants are basic. It was fun to watch the "bird-watchers" congregating for a weekend outing.
