"Thank you for a wonderful girls getaway. Several of us enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for group activities.place was spotless, kitchen well stocked except some paper towel could be handy. Overall a great spot for small groups and families."
"I really enjoyed my stay at the "dreaming out loud" cabin/bunkie.The property is hits the mark for the "luxury glamping" market. Well constructed cabins and beautifully decorated and painted. beautiful property with a nice trail and river access. The shared bathrooms were amazing; solid concrete floor, heated building, full plumbing, huge, hot showers. The hot tub was very comfortable and nicely placed at the bottom of the hill, out of view of the road. The bunkies were orientated properly, facing the stream and away from the road and access trail.I have stayed at other "luxury glamping" properties in the province and this one does it right. Potable water in the room, full plumbing toilets, lofted sleeping area, fully stocked kitchen, provided firewood, lofted ceilings bring a lot of dimension to a small square footage. These items aren't just details. When they aren't provided, the property feels weak and unfinished. Bunkie land does it right.I will be staying again. "
"The room was as advertised - character and clean, and with a tree outside that hosted a pair of eagles -- one of which allowed us to take its pictures. Seeing the degree of change with the Bay of Fundy tides was as we hoped - something to see."
"Overall we were dissatisfied with our stay. Although the dome was cute, we quickly ran out of propane heat and had to add another tank. Also, the next morning we ran out of water. Upon informing the manager, we did get an apology and nothing more. Safety was also a concern. There were solar powered outdoor lights that quickly went out after dark! We won’t stay here again. "
Bay of Fundy ,Cobequid Bay, Steps to the beach in the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark
10/10 Excellent
"The house is immaculate and very comfortable. The views of the Bay of Fundy are spectacular, as is the beach, which has incredible geological features and an ever changing shoreline due to the rapid changes of tide. Most mornings you could walk out into the bay for hundreds of feet, and watch the tide come in at noon to the rocks lining the shore. Our hosts were amazingly responsive, friendly, kind and generous. When my friend found some nautical maps she had been searching for, our host's son MADE her a hand-made balsa wood box to carry them home in so that they wouldn't be damaged in flight. He helped us when the wi-fi went out so that we could watch a movie, and was so helpful with things to do and see in the area. When we said we three were musicians looking for some Irish and Celtic music, he left us CDs to take home with us! This place is remote, extremely quiet and so stunningly beautiful. It was the perfect retreat from the world for three old college friends to have a reunion. We cooked, we walked on the beach, we went to the charming towns nearby, the Geopark at Five Islands, the Dutchman's Cheese Shop, and ate the most fabulous seafood you can imagine. If you're looking for a true retreat from the hustle of everyday life, this is it! I know I want to return. "
