This Hotel is old but not too bad... The front desk girls are very nice, friendly & helpful. Rooms are clean & beds & pillows are good. Location is good for walking downtown & lot's of pricey food places to eat. Best place we found was Sobeys grocery store; delicious prepared food for good price... yum! The waterfront pier is nicely lighted at night & we even saw a wedding party taking pictures! Oldie (hotel) but a goodie you could say!!!
(also, we didn't get the room we reserved with the couch- superior room; not sure we will be charged for it or not due to making our reservations with Expedia). That was the only room they had we were told...
It's a 3 star hotel. Towels weren't freshened up. Air conditioner was loud. Internet was very poor. Elevators need a tune-up -- bumpy and doors close early. Restaurant was average. Staff was very nice and helpful -- reception, cleaning and restaurant. Close to shopping malls and great restaurants and highway.
It looks as if they are slowly updating the accommodations which is great. Half of the room (kitchen, bathroom, entry) was on par with high end hotels. The other half was a little dated- for now. The beds weren't the best, but we still got what we needed out of the room, a recuperating zone; a place to sleep and clean ourselves. =)

The owners were so nice and the room was cozy! There was a little sitting area by the window and plenty of desk space! The room was clean as well. It was a great place to stay if you are looking for a deal! I would return again.
