We will never , ever, stay here again. We wanted to see Burgos but almost couldn't because of our stay at this hotel. We booked a superior room, which had a great view and nice patio on the 11th floor, but the weather was quite warm and the air conditioner did not work. We spent a hellish, uncomfortable night, and when my wife went down and complained the next day the desk clerk was sullen and blamed us/her for not knowing how to make it work.Well, they sent the housekeeper up (who seemed to be their handyman also, figure that one out) and she confirmed that it was not working. When I went down and resolutely told the clerk that I would not stay another night in the room I was met with a "so what" response. Finally when I became adamant, the clerk said that if they couldn't fix it they would move us to another room. This was after at least ten minutes of "so what responses", which was hard to take after a night of no sleep whatsoever. When we returned 2 1/2 hours later the air was working but we were told under no circumstances to remove the "card" that had been placed in the switch at the door. Upon checkout we were met with sullen hostility like we were terrible problematic people. We have NEVER had a worse experience at a hotel ever, and we have traveled the world for far more than a decade. If you should read this but still decide to stay, you can't say that you haven't been warned. We must, however, sincerely thank the maid/"maintenance woman".
