I checked in late evening. Hotel staff was welcoming. TV channels are limited and result is not good. Internet is slow but ok to use social apps or emails. Not good if you want to make skype, viber calls. There was mild odour in toilet. Hotel management might consider to install air freshener in there. You get room washing machine, fridge, safe locker, microwave, toaster, cooker and kitchen wash basin.
Also complimentary use of Gym, pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi.

Proudly introducing Winchester Hotel Apartments. The Winchester Tradition of excellence stretches back over 15years in …More
Only a short stay but once again an excellent one, and again upgraded to a club room. Had minor issues with the room, tv kept switching off and the curtains closed when the door was closed. I reported these to maintenance and what is most important, the issues were very quickly addressed and fixed. Further very minor issue, no Kirin beer in Crossroads bar, but the Italian beer was also very good and the first one on the house.
Had afternoon tea in the lounge also excellent. All staff are so willing to help without exception, there is no doubt in my mind this is the only hotel to sty in Dubai.
We stayed in the Orient Guest house on our 4-day stopover in Dubai on our way home from Australia. We found it an excellent choice , relaxing and very comfortable with a hearty breakfast in the courtyard.
Majestic Hotel Tower was a great value for money. Excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurants were all top rate. We rented a car at the airport for an amazing $180 for the week that was valet parked for free. Driving around Dubai was not hard (about the same as LA) and greatly enhanced our touring options. However my favorite thing most days was to walk to the creek and soak up the atmosphere along the way. Would stay here again on next visit. View from room lovely. Swimming pool nice.
The main administrative and shopping district, Bur Dubai contains some of Dubai's oldest buildings. Bastakiya is a carefully restored 'heritage quarter' of narrow alleys and courtyard houses cooled by wind-towers. Sheikh Maktoum's House (now a museum) is a fine example of 19th-century Arabian architecture. The nearby Dubai Museum offers a succinct account of the Emirate's history, while the Heritage & Diving Village recreates its maritime past.
