Great view from our room Wifi service we found to be very poor Bathroom towels like cardboard
Myself & my husband stayed in this hotel on an overnight trip. We were very disappointed with the out-of-date technology & decor in our room. The T.V did not work, we were provided with only 1 towel between the 2 of us, and the decor in the room was outdated. We had to queue approx 10 minutes to ...
Spacious home close to the beach with amazing views. However, some of the bathrooms need upgrading as there was a problem controlling the water temperature.
This was a perfectly fine place to spend a night. This was a condo near the beach that was rented out. No frills, good view of the water (and the amusement park across the street), If you were planning a beachfront holiday, this would be a low-cost, no frills way to do so.
Golfers from all over the world are drawn to the Republic of Ireland, a country brimming with challenging courses in stunning locations. Bundoran is home to one of the most popular, and anyone wanting to play its 18 holes will have plenty of choice when it comes to choosing where to stay.
You could opt for a few days in a four star hotel if you want to enjoy a taste of luxury during your trip. Restaurants serving high quality food and offering leisure, fitness, sauna and spa facilities can all be enjoyed if you want to make the most of your golfing holiday.
With its reputation as a busy seaside resort, Bundoran has lots of other options when it comes to accommodation. Many of its hotels, guesthouses and bed and breakfasts are dotted around the town centre, close to the beach and just a short drive away from the golf club. A stay in one of these might give you a break from the pressures posed by all those greens and fairways!
Bundoran Golf Club boasts a par 70 course which sweeps along the dramatic County Donegal coastline. A mixture of dunes and undulating terrain make up the 18 holes, all of which enjoy fabulous panoramic views, whether it be vistas of the wild Atlantic Ocean to the west or the magnificent Dartry Mountains to the east. Whichever hole you’re playing, the views will ensure a round at Bundoran lives long in the memory.
Bundoran’s clubhouse has everything a visiting golfer could wish for. The first port of call for most players is the pro shop, where you can book your round, hire a buggy or trolley and pay your fees. The shop is also the area’s leading supplier of golf equipment, with clubs, bags, balls, trolleys and other accessories available, along with a wide range of casual and waterproof clothing for men and women. You can also book a lesson with the club’s resident professional.
The clubhouse has full changing and shower facilities for both sexes and, outside, there is a practice fairway and putting green and a large car park.
Situated alongside the ninth tee, the clubhouse is perfectly located for golfers to pop into the shop for some refreshments midway through their round. Once you’ve finished you can, of course, retire to the 19th hole for a well-deserved rest. In comfortable surroundings overlooking the 18th green you can relax with a drink, enjoy a bar snack, watch television or play a game of snooker. The clubhouse has been extensively refurbished and visiting golfers are welcome to enjoy the incredible views on offer from the large balcony.
Bundoran Golf Club attracts visitors throughout the year, particularly during the summer months. However, the resort’s wide range of hotels, guesthouses, holiday homes and bed and breakfasts should ensure that you find a great place to stay no matter what time you pay a visit.
