The property was pretty nice, a little old looking. There was a glitch in the system with the players card and movie tickets. They gave us two free movie tickets, so we watched a second movie. The staff argued that all the VIP Executive suites have a King size bed. Our was a queen. The handicap room was at the very end of the hall way!!!

Picture on the website are false. This is not kid friendly. It has you pick smoking or non-smoking, so you think the check-in desk would be in non smoking so people that picks non- smoking wouldn't have to smell like that.. Also to get to the kids pool you have to walk through smoking area.. The maps for hotel is horrible...

It was a busy weekend and they only had 4 out of the 6 elevators running. It took about 15 -20 mins each time we had to wait for an elevator and we were on the 25th floor or else I would have taken the stairs. Checking out we waited 30 mins for our elevator and we hit every floor going down. The beds were hard and there was some kind of huge bug that looked like a roach in our room. The ladies checking us in were warm and friendly, however the lady working the club member desk was rude. We have stayed there before and thought we would try it again. Not the best idea this time around.

had to walk too much as the boat taxi wasn't there sadly. horrible line to get into the restaurant for dinner, but went next door for dinner with no lines and got sat immediately. will stay there next time.

The hotel is on the river and has great views of the mountains. The bed was a bit hard and the pillows were not comfortable. The buffet was average and I would recommend trying another restaurant.

While having some positive aspects, did have several areas in need of improvement. Firstly, the room’s air quality was uncomfortably dry, and it seemed that the tissue boxes were not replaced between guests, as there were noticeable remnants on the box. The hotel’s toilet paper felt low-quality, and the dining options within the hotel were limited. The one available restaurant, Fat Burger, offered decent food, albeit at a high price. During my stay, there was also a casino component where it seemed initially that guests had a fair chance of winning. However, the key appears to be knowing when to stop, as I observed many ultimately losing their earlier winnings. For families, the hotel offered minimal activities; adding amenities like a heated pool or a Jacuzzi could greatly enhance the experience. The gift shops were also notably overpriced and security seemed overly cautious, with repeated checks of guest IDs, possibly to prevent credit card fraud, which felt excessive at times. On a positive note, there was an airshow during my stay, which provided spectacular entertainment visible from the room. Many guests and locals gathered in the parking lot, creating a tailgate-like, family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, while the hotel does have potential, especially given the lively events and the family-friendly environment, adding more recreational options and improving the overall guest experience would make a significant difference.

This is our 2nd time staying at Don Laughlin’s for our wedding anniversary. We love the room with the 2 balconies so at night we can enjoy River or sunset views. The Gourmet Restaurant is fabulous, I reserved before our trip and we had one of the best tables on the window overlooking the river. Love this place and all the fine restaurants in this little town.

Husband and I will never book at the riverside again. They don’t have any customer service skills. It says check in is at 2, after waiting 30 mins in line, they say it’s not ready, to come back at 3:30. Husband had to stand in two more times to get fully checked in to our two rooms. Didn’t get into our rooms until 4:30! The riverside is not very kid friendly besides having arcade and bowling alley. Their kids pool is unheated and seems abandoned, no amenities. Couldn’t enjoy pool time because the pool was too cold, and the heated pool was for adults only, which the adult pool is very nice but after 12pm there is no sun hitting that area. It was a very disappointing experience

Fatburger was great wish the cafes had more items and quicker staff. They moved like snails on saturday had to walk away after 20 minutes in line

My stay at Riverside was okayyyy.My room could have been cleaner unfortunately. I normally do a wipe down of room after check-in with antibacterial wipes, and unfortunately was wiping away nastiness in rest room. i also had dropped a bracelet on the floor by bed, and REALLY saw the dust that was on that carpet. WOW,nasty.

the check in process was a lot longer then needed, only 2 associates on and the line got backed up and no other employee stepped in to help. any supervision? need better options for meals most food places where high fat and high salt no vegetarian or vegan food areas.

I should have mentioned to the lady at the counter when I checked in that I have a problem walking and could I get a room on a lower floor and something close to the elevator. I didn't and as a consequence, I got a room that was on the 20th floor and not at all close to the elevators. Next time!

I guess we weren’t prepared for the cigarette smoke that permeates your being for the duration of the stay. The property is older, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Any and all staff we interacted with were prepared and appeared to like their role.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property and I honestly don’t know if it will be the last time. There’s a few things that actually went wrong This time around. From being switched five floors up in the middle of our state, the rollaway bed was filthy and filled with stains, when we got moved, we got downgraded to a Smaller suite for the same price of the more expensive one and then the bathroom light stopped working. I don’t know if we will be back.

The Mexican restaurant at the hotel recommended via the hotel channel had terrible food. Wait staff was polite but painfully slow, despite being not very busy. The service at all the restaurants in Laughlin that we ate at had terrible to moderate service. Hotel overall was just okay. Outdated and there was no couch or chairs in the room. Just an empty wall where one should have been.
