Quick trip to check out Laughlin

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Pros: It was inexpensive and met our needs.
Cons: The refrigerator in our room was a bit noisy. The motor or something kept "humming" every couple of minutes.
Location: You can walk along the Colorado River very easily and walk to other hotels/casinos easily.
Check in was fast and the rep was pleasant. The room was what I expected and it was comfortable. The tub was just leaking/dripping and the little refrigerator motor was a bit noisy, but didn't bother our sleep too much. Check out was fast. Free parking and the free wi-fi was appreciated.

Convenient

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Pleasant hotel/ casino in good location to enjoy views of the Colorado River and stroll the Riverwalk. Easy to walk to other casinos nearby. GREAT '60s/70's band at the bar, Al Michaud and Johnny Hot Rod. All meals good. Not too smokey.

Average Casino hotel

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Pros: The Vineyards restaurant.
Cons: The mattress in our room needed replaced. The non smoking section in the casino needs to be a seperate area, not right in the middle of the casino.
Location: There are lots of things to do close by. We stayed close to the hotel.
Aquarius has some nice amenities but not a lot of selection. The rooms are dated and the mattress in our room was old and tired. We gambled some and the machines seemed tight. We loved dining at The Vineyards and the food was awesome. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Nothing Special

Posted 16-Jan-2017
Pros: They had a lot of amenities and were close to walking distance with all of the other things to do in town.
Cons: Do something about the paper thin walls.
Location: Good location to outlet mall & all other casinos in walking distance. The river view you book may only be a peak view that they charge you more for.
I booked through Expedia a room with a River View. Went to check in at 3pm and the line was extremely long. Would have probably waited an hour and a half or more just to check in so we went elsewhere deciding on a late check in. Got there in the evening and walked right up. Got to our room and opened the door to the sound of a tv in the room next to us that I thought was the tv in our room. The walls were paper thin. We kept our voices down to practically a whisper the entire room stay for fear we would disturb any neighbors. The beds were lumpy and not very comfortable. Very tiny pillows about half the size of a normal bed pillow. Bedding very loud and the bed frames on both queen beds in the room were squeaky. The drain in the bathroom sink was very noisy. The windows made popping sounds throughout the night. Maybe the window seals are going bad. I'm assuming sound was from the wind outside not sure. Anyway, none of my 3 family members had a good nights stay here. Next time we will try another hotel. Maybe our experience was as a result of it being a holiday weekend and checking in late. We were given the not so great room. Maybe we are just spoiled in having better experiences with other rooms (like at Harrah's). Not sure we would try this hotel again for the price we paid (almost $140 for one night).

Cons: Have staff do a better job on cleaning the rooms.
Stayed here in past, room was good, this time it was disappointing. Bathroom was very dirty, had to have housekeeping in to tidy things up. Otherwise a good stay.

Very good value

Posted 14-Jan-2017
Pros: It is a good location to walk along the river walk. The food is good at the restaurants.
The casino, rooms, and restaurants are clean. The employees remind you to use your Aquarius card to get discounts on food and drinks. Free parking in the covered garage is a plus.

Nice clean Hotel and Casino

Posted 14-Jan-2017
We had a bad experience with a stick man on the craps table, his bad attitude and mouthy comments about women were unnecessary. I wrote a review on Facebook and they wanted my personal info to contact me about the incident, which I did provide and of course they haven't followed through. My advice is to gamble elsewhere where you have a chance at winning.

Very nice room. Clean, updated, quiet. The area around the main bar ( The Zodiac ) is quite smokey, so avoid that space if cigarette / cigar smoke bothers you.
