"Richard was the kindest innkeeper. He allowed me to stay in my room past checkout and drove me to the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk my luggage in 92° heat. He was very thorough in his tour and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the window AC wasn't sufficient for the massive heat wave in most of the house, but I was staying in the basement apartment which was pleasantly cool. Breakfast was delicious, but be sure to inform them of any food allergies in advance!"

"Room is adequate and clean. It has enough comforts like fridge and bath soaps etc Breakfast Is a nice plus but wish there was more fresh fruit and plain yogurt with no sugar. Or bring your own if you care."

"Three generations had a great time at Sunrise on Skyline over a very hot 4th of July weekend. The accommodations were great - comfortable beds (though one son was a little too tall for his bed!), fully stocked kitchen, plenty of parking, and great views. The highlight was the pool. The current in the pool provided a wonderful workout for the adults and the littlest ones had plenty of room to play and move around. The morning sunrise was spectacular from the huge windows in the living room. The small local grocery store was about five minutes away and had a good variety; we ate all our meals at Sunrise. We are already thinking we might need to try a fall or winter stay at Sunrise - I’m guessing the fall colors are spectacular and being able to swim in the winter would be a treat. I had to contact our hosts about one question about the pool and they were back to me within two minutes. It was a great few days at this lovely home."

"This is a great spot for a peaceful and cozy experience. It is close to lots of hiking, river views, and places to eat and shop. The best part is you are close but feel like you are out of town and remote. It is clean and the host is helpful and kind. The only thing travelers should note is that the spiral staircase from the first floor to the second is beautiful and rustic but steep. If you have any mobility issues that make stairs hard, you would not be able to get to the sleeping area."
