The price is good

This hotel has a wine theme that doesn't really play out. The staff are helpful and pleasant. This hotel is relatively inexpensive, and that is apparent.

Quaint hotel in an old neighborhood!

Posted 28-Jan-2017 on Hotels
The hotel was in an old neighborhood. Not very close to main attractions. Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable minus the thin walls. Overall for the price it was decent.

Clean, Modern hotel in San Telmo Neighborhood

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Pros: Clean, safe, modern, good hotel for San Telmo Neighborhood.
Location: Antares Bar is a nice place to go at night for local beer and a full bar, nice vibe, hip bartenders.
This is a nice, clean, inexpensive, modern hotel located in San Telmo Neighborhood. This neighborhood is closer to La Boca. It's safe as the front door is locked but with front desk staff 24/7 to unlock when hotel guests arrive. There is Wifi throughout the hotel, and the room is clean and modern. The hotel staff would also give you recommendations in the area if you need.

New and clean

The hotel is new and clean. However the staff were not that friendly. It's a quick walk to San Telmo, but the neighborhood itself isn't the greatest.

Wine lovers will love this place

Posted 08-Aug-2015 on Hotels
We were visiting relatives who live just outside of the Federal Capital, but who had a house full of people. This location was great for us because it has easy access to the Acceso Oeste autopisto from 9 de Julio. The owner and staff were very gracious and helpful and the beds were very comfortable. The pics show bathrooms that are visible from the rest of the room, but our triple had a closed-off bathroom. The hotel revolves around wine (Cepas basically means variety of grape) and the room had a shelf of red wine from many regions of Argentina and a blue-lit wine cooler (see pic) with whites and rosés (best 'mini-bar' I've ever seen, complete with bottle opener and glasses), all very reasonably priced (more like in a liquor store than in a restaurant). The elevator is lit with the same blue light. I did not try the spa or the restaurant, but took a peek (see pic). My only complaint is that the water pressure reduced to a trickle in the middle of my shower.

Easy, helpful spot to stay

we had a very good, quick stay. The location was convenient and the owners were very helpful, and let us in the building at all different hours.

Good but not great.

Very attentive staff and an overall positive experience. The hotel has a lot of potential and it's a good, honest 3*. It needs a bit of work as cleanliness is average and its decor is halfway between modern and cheap finishings.
