Our first dissatisfied IBIS
First, the condition of the bathroom was rather run down, not the usual IBIS that we are used to.
Secondly, after I informing the front desk I will be checking out late they still lock my room key card.
Third, trying to get my room key unlocked means I have to queue at front desk for 30 minutes. In the entire 30 minutes, there was one, ONLY ONE staff working hard to check in one, YES ONLY ONE customer.
Don’t get me wrong, she is probably doing her best, something is really wrong and make this a different IBIS.
Lastly, after we managed to get back into our room and trying to pack up our things so we can leave ASAP, one of the staff came knocking on our door reminding us the checkout time is 12 noon. And I had to explain to her is she was downstairs helping the other poor girl, I would have been gone by now!
I am sorry, this could be a one off incident, but it leaves a lasting impression. Youth Hostel does this better than you guys. Just imagine that.
