The staff there went above and beyond to accommodate our odd travel schedule. They even went out of their way to help us find a tour to take of the city in the limited time we had available. Breakfast was awesome. Location was convenient and close to many things. Highly recommend this property. Can’t say enough about how nice the staff was.

great hotel. Great location
n Carlton is a great hotel. Rooms are a little worn but staff are amazing, breakfast was great. Excellent value, excellent location. Would definitely return.

We were new to B.A. so we had a lot of questions. The staff was very helpful in finding places to go. The tour we had scheduled was there to pick us up our last day... but an hour late. Since we had a flight out that evening we could not afford to return from the tour late so we canceled. The staff helped us with checking in for our flight home. The food was nice except we cook our bacon much more in the US. We chose not to eat that.

The room had everything we needed for a short stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the bedding was of good quality. Breakfast was more than adequate. The location is excellent with lots of hot spots within walking distance. Taxis are plentiful and very cheap. The hotel staff were always helpful.

Stayed here for the third time and everything has been perfect. Modern airy hotel in a good part of Buenos Aires well located, lots of restaurants nearby and shopping. Great staff.

Good price/location/service value
The staff is great, friendly and helpful 100% of the time. The hotel could need a renovation which is not uncommon in Buenos Aires central hotels. The breakfast could be improved with a bit more things like pastries, but overall is ok. For the price, staff service and location is good value for money.

OK hotel in a great location.
The hotel is just OK. It is clean and everything works, but all the furniture, the bathroom, the TV, and the decoration are really old. The room is not very comfortable, even though the bed is fine. The breakfast is below average. I'd only stay there again for a very short business stay. The location, nevertheless, is fantastic. It is right in the Microcentro, walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, cafés, to Recoleta, and to Porto Madero. Really fantastic location.

Good staff but they committed a mistake and did not call the taxi arranged foe airport transport and we were close to lose the flight. That is a mistake that an hotel cannot afford to do.

Friendly staff and good location
Staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast included a good variety of cold meats ,breads and cereals and bacon and eggs. Nice restaurants nearby. Walking distance to main square and Recolecta. Would recommend and stay again.

Nice hotel — exceptional staff. The location is convenient, just one block off 9 de Julio a main artery through the city. We walked a lot and always felt safe in the neighborhood. We had a medical issue while there and The staff was very helpful. It’s a small hotel and after a couple days it was like they knew us. Breakfast is included and there was lots of fresh fruit and bread. I’d stay there again, no question.

A nice hotel in Recoleta
Front and house keeping staff were friendly. I don't speak Spanish but I had no issues at the hotel in communicateing with staff. The bed was comfortable, I liked the pillow (stayed in a twin room) and I slept well. The view from my room on 7th floor was not great. I saw some locals' active life etc. from the window but at least I could open the window and get fresh air, and it wasn't that noisy. The location was convenient to many restaurants, landmarks, bike shares and bus stops. TiendaLeon bus stop was 15mins walk away from the hotel. The hot breakfast buffet was simple but fresh and tasty. I loved this hotel. I will go back for sure!! Thanks staff:)

The hotel is centrally located in the very nice area of Recoleta. Easy to walk and very safe. nice lical restaurants and doesn't feel too "touristy". All the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

The hotel, although a little outdated, is extremely clean, which was what I was looking for. The staff (Florencia, Jesica, Silvia, Max), from the reception staff, bellman, to housekeepers were very nice and attentive. The housekeeper was fantastic, and kept the room and bathroom tidy and very clean. I would be returning to this hotel in the future! Great clean rooms!

Great for Short BA Stint
I was in BA for a short trip. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many parks and restaurants. Free breakfast is included in the nightly rate and the breakfast was a mix of hot and cold options. Hotel is very clean. Elevator and rooms are on the smaller side. The bed wasn't very comfortable--it was pretty hard.

Lobby was nice , room was clean , bathroom needed a update but worked fine, bed and bedding could’ve been more comfortable , (the sheets had a couple small old stains) Breakfast was satisfactory , basic though. Good Value for the money and a attentive staff

Happy New Year during my stay
The hotel is in excellent condition overall. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, reliable wi-fi connection, clean room. Staff are friendly and helpful, saving me a lot of time and money by pointing out that I had bought wrong ticket for my next journey. Thanks to them, I returned the ticket and bought a correct one.

We spent the last portion of our trip here. The best thing at this hotel is the location. It is very close to many attractions and it is safe to walk at night. The breakfast is OK. We had to ask for toilet paper and another towel the first morning. For me this is a big no no. Our room was to tiny. There is not even enough space to place your luggage. But it was OK just to be in the middle of the Recoleta.

Excellent staff... smoky and small room
The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a smaller more local flavored type of hotel... less expensive and it feels like more than part of the city than some of the big more expensive chains. My room was smoky and I would have asked for another when I arrived if I had it to do over again.
