Nice hotel. Every now and then I get lucky in the draw for a room. This stay I got the jackpot, or so I thought. The room was a suite with 1 1/2 bathrooms, living room and separate bedroom. Wow, I thought.
As I settled in around 4 in the afternoon I kept hearing a "roto-hammer" in the adjacent space, it would go on and off about every 20 minutes, it would only last about 2 minutes. "mmm they must have given me the upgrade because they are working on the hotel or working on the space next door that the hotel has to put up with. Later, when I came back from diner the same noise would methodically go on and off. it never quit. Although I do think the timing spread out at night.
Don't know what it was, but it did compromise the way I rate this hotel.
On a positive side, the staff was fantastic and kind.
I would stay here again, but be weary of the rooms that might be close to the noise.
