The hotel is 3 station stops from the centre of Buda. It is quiet but all feels a bit dated and in need of a revamp. Terrible squishy mattress was quickly changed for a decent one when I asked and problems with a broken radiator (the room was always too hot) within minutes of asking, so staff were as helpful as could be. Breakfast was disappointing, food not great and we had to hunt round the buffet for every ingredient and piece of crockery and cutlery. The dining room manager was clearly under stress and we only tried it once out of the 4 mornings there. We ate at a more pleasant central cafe. We had paid for a river view from our room, but it was not worth it as all we could really see was a busy road, a railway line and the dirty and cluttered engineering site of a nearby bridge.
Spa facilities were OK but again all felt a bit tired and out of date.
