The 5* awarded to this hotel are excessive.

This hotel a house have a 3.5* rating. I also hated that there was no temperature adjustment in the room. It was heated but not well enough .

Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed

Pros: Decor, staff, spa, breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Far from downtown or other tourist attractions.
This beautiful hotel has everything. There's a wonderful full spa; there's good gift shops; the WiFi service was dependable; the breakfast was magnificent. The location left a little to be desired. I would certainly stay there again.

Having filtered my search to 5 star hotels only, it was probably a case of too good to be true given the relatively low price we paid. Regardless, it wasn't cheap in Hungarian terms so we were very disappointed to find a hotel certainly in no better condition than a mid 3 star hotel. Rusty taps, strangers hair all over the bathroom tiles, outdated and damaged furniture. Really poor I'm afraid.

It was an amazing hotel but was spoiled by the view of the tram lines and how far we had to walk to get to the Christmas markets.

Four star not five

Lovely hotel but I do not recommend the hotel restaurant. Service was slow, the portions were small and it was expensive. Bar food was better but again the service was slow.

Nice hotel

Really nice hotel, 30-40 mins from the thick of things Only have to catch the 1 tram to m3 underground Nice swimming pools especially the heated ones

ups and downs hotel

Pros: Nothing stood out it was defiantly not a 5 star hotel though
Cons: Some of that staff attitude and I think it could do with updating
Location: Not a lot really out the way it cost between 2800 and 5000 HUF in a taxi to Budapest city (beautiful city)
We originally where given a room that had been occupied and not cleaned but when we went back to reception the reception staff member was really apologetic. First night we where given burnt food and then after waiting 1 hour for one of our parties food we asked for that food to be refunded to which the staff just walked away and hide eventually we got a refund but the rest of the evening the 2 female members of staff 1 inarticulate ignored us and wouldn't serve us and the other served us with out a smile as if it was an effort. On our last night the staff where wonderful really helpful and cheerful. I was asham the first night was so bad I could have packed my case and come home that night. We also booked the shuttle bus to take us in to the city it didn't turn up and we had already been to ask where it stopped only to be told when we went back to inquire where it was that it had been cancelled
