Kind of fun, kind of uncomfortable, maddening wifi

Horrible wifi, and staff seemed quite indifferent to this fact, pointing out that their phone could get a signal in the lobby, which was not helpful. After asking repeatedly for help, they opened up an uncleaned room for me to use, but wifi didn't work there either. Had reserved two double beds, but they just gave us a single, said they couldn't accommodate our request, so my son opted to sleep on the floor. Rooms are decorated in uncomfortable, baroque style, so if you don't like sitting in spindly chairs in grandma's living room, it won't suit you. I ended up lurking on the floor by an open doorway trying to catch a signal to book our next hotel. Great location, nice old world vibe, good restaurants nearby. Street parking only. If you don't care about wifi, or comfort, you might really enjoy the historic feel of the place. Very gilt, glass, and ye olde glam. Wish I enjoyed it more.
