Excellent Hotel
We stayed here for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Hotel is in a lovely quiet street near the castle and 5 mins walk from the chain bridge. The rooms are good sized, clean and the bed was huge and so comfortable. The staff, every single member we met were exceptional, helpful and even went above and beyond to sort us out transfers to the Hungaroring daily and airport. We asked if we could have an early breakfast and they sorted it out for us. I honestly cannot find a single fault. The breakfasts were fantastic and fresh with a really good choice of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, cereals, fruits and salads. The orange juice was delicious too. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms immaculate and provided plenty of fresh towels daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was simple to use and had great pressure. The air conditioning was fantastic and the rooms were a nice temperature. We had a fantastic stay and would without hesitation recommend this hotel to everyone.

Comfortable Suite in Budapest
Our experience at the Milford Suites was wonderful.The apartment we rented was clean, spacious and in great condition. The continental breakfast offered every morning free was delicious and the staff was the best, especially Edina, who made sure our time there was comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with a great location

Pleasant stay for couples,
I booked Milford Suites for a surprise 21st Birthday holiday for my girlfriend and she loved it. Apartment was clean with quirky decoration but staying on the right side of tacky, and plenty of space for a couple with the added bonus of a kitchen, however the cooking equipment was extremely limited with one frying pan and a distinct lack of cutlery; this didn't effect us however as we ate out for each meal. Breakfast was just what we needed to start each day, croissants, toast, cheeses, cereal, coffee etc, and being able to take it back to your room was a nice touch, as there are not a lot of tables, but it never filled up during our stay. Location is pleasant, a lot quieter than the city centre with the Fisherman's Bastion just up the road providing excellent views across the river from the top. Be prepared to use your legs though, as the walk back from the Pest side after a day's exploring can be very tiring as its all uphill from the river to the hotel. However the bed was amazingly comfy so crashing out after getting back was extra lovely! Overall a very pleasant stay, just what we needed and we would definitely stay again!!

super hotel in a quiet neighbourhood
on our arrival we were warmly received and checked in within minutes. their staff gave us clear direction to café spar supermarket etc. though the hotel is on the hill we used it as a form of work out. location is great as all the tourist attractions and transport are within working distance

Most beautiful hotel..
My 25 year old daughter and I were very impressed with the service, kind and considerate staff , and the beautiful furnishings in the large rooms..I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel on the "Buda side"of Budapest.

Nice little place with ups & downs.
Upon arrival we were greeted kindly and shown to our room on the first floor. Although the view we had was limited to the building across the way, the room was large, beautiful and had amenities such as black out blinds and kitchen. Good: large room, comfortable beds, pleasant staff & location (if you don't mind a short 10-20 minute walk to city center). Great room and lots of space for price. Also, although there is no provided parking, it is easy to find a place near the hotel (metered M-F). Located right by many must see locations such as Buda Castle. Bad: air conditioning did not seem to keep up with demand and room was uncomfortably warm. Although breakfast buffet was a nice touch, it was a little scanty with just a few meats and cheese selections and croissants. The shower was small, even for me (at 5-4, 98 pounds) and leaked.

Our cold buffet breakfast includes delicious meat and cheese from primary producers (from Transylvania and Hungary), tasty rolls and croissants are freshly baked each morning. We offer fruit, vegetables, cereals and salads, jam, etc. Our nespresso coffee also often mentioned in the reviews as positive experience. Please be advised that our air condition is individually controlled, but our reception staff is ready to help with that. It is easily cooling down the whole apartment (as we built in bigger ones than needed to serve the needs of your guests). I hope you had a nice time here and may return in the future.

Perfect location
Very nice room perfect for family. Location was excellent in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was the only downfall...a bit small but the food was good. Definitely recommend it and will stay here again.

Close to the Fishermen's Bastion and Royal Palace
Milford Suites was a welcome place to stay and see Budapest. We were able to walk up the stairs a short distance away to see the Fishermen's Bastion and Mattie's Church. The panorama overlooking the city of Budapest And Pest was great. Watch the city change from the castle hill as the lights illuminate the buildings and river bridges.

Gorgeous hotel!
Loved the Milford Suites hotel except for the bathrooms and angle of the roof line in the family apartment. The shower was part of the tub with no shower doors or shower curtain and the shower head was hand held and at an odd angle to take a shower. But rooms was gorgeous and clean. Loved the free breakfast and chocolates. To walk into the city was about a 30 min walk or metro line was a 5 min walk. Hotel staff was very attentive!

Very nice accommodations. The sofa beds were not the most comfortable for my adult children traveling with us, but the hotel was nice. Good breakfast and great location (just down the hill from Fisherman's Bastion) 300M from bus 16 stop. I highly recommend.

Beautiful and modern in old Budapest.
The Milford Suites are beautifully decorated, very comfortable with air conditioning, free wifi and all modern comforts.The service is very friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was a lovley including lots of local products which was a nice touch. We found the location perfect as it was in a traditional part of Buda, and was very quiet with a few local puts. The tourist attractions of Fishermans Bastion Buda were a 5 minute walk. We also found it easy to walk to pubs and bars across the river, but it is also very cheap to get a taxi. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice location. Great for Buda castle. A 5 minute walk to get to tram. Buy yourself the Metro/Bus/Tram card. Great deal and gives you lots of discounts at museums and tourist sites.

Did not honor reservation
Made a reservation 5 months ago, confirmed and sent message via Expedia system (which was ignored). Showed up after traveling 20 hours and was turned away. Said they had "technical problems". Tried to shuffle me to much lesser quality property. I booked a suite in this particular part of town. Ended up in a nice property, but had to take cabs and buses to get around. Felt I was turned away because they simply gave my room to someone else, manager had no explanation. Not a happy customer. Read another review with same experience, but figured it wouldn't happen to me. Beware.

Amazing hotel!
Hotel was clean, well designed, comfortable, extremely close to Buda castle and bus stop making getting around the city very easy. The service was great, breakfast in the morning consisted of standard fare but it was all locally sourced. Overall, the hotel provided a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Also, the surrounding area is touristy enough that nearly everyone speaks English and are all friendly. Could not recommend this hotel more!

We know where we're staying on our next visit!
This "aparthotel" was an incredible bargain for what we got. The "room" (actually 4 rooms) was huge, Dory at the front desk was incredibly helpful (she's a very good English speaker and she helped us understand the area and Hungary at large), the breakfasts were great, and the location is UNBEATABLE (excellent safe neighborhood, 5 minute walk to Fisherman's Bastion, 10 minute walk to Buda Castle, 5 minute walk to the river with its incredible views). To top it all off - on the last day I opened the fridge to observe a FREE water bottle and two beers! Where else are you going to get that kind of an experience at a hotel? The only downside of the visit was that something kind of stunk in the lobby, but it looked like they were working on fixing whatever problem was causing it. Overall we're absolutely going to stay at the same hotel next time we visit this wonderful city.

Handling problem with Sincerity
Booked for 3 night one month ago but when arrived was informed no room available due to water leaking. I was mad and refused to accept their offer of replacement with another hotel. Finally they arranged a smallest room for me for the 1st night and with some refund instead. I am very satisfied with the way they handle their problem with initiative to offer to refund me with sincerity.

Lovely stay for a few days
The room was very spacious and had all that you needed. The hotel staff were attentive, the breakfast had a small selection due to being a small hotel. The location was good due to easy connections to the centre of Budapest but the area itself was lovely and quiet. Just a few minutes walk up the hill to amazing views of the city! Bonus was being on this side of the river due to having the lovely views of the other side. Great couple of days away, highly recommend!

Great hotel, within walking distance of main sites
Visited 27-30/06/2016 The hotel is located on the 'Buda' side of the river Danube a five minute walk from Batthyany tér (M2 line metro station) just one change at the central Deák Ferenc tér metro station which you would get to from the M3 line that departs from where the airport shuttle drops you off. This also meant the whole city was easy to access, especially with the unlimited travel cards (which I would say is essential in Budapest). The hotel is a beautifully decorated building and the front desk was always attended by polite and helpful English speaking staff. Our room was spacious, very clean and came with all of the amenities you would want. We were happy to have a large fridge/freezer and importantly air conditioning (temps hit 36C during our holiday). The double bed was very comfortable. We had no trouble sleeping as the hotel is on a quite road away from the main roads. Our room was cleaned well and towels replaced daily. Breakfast was perfect, with a decent selection of breakfast foods and drinks and was available late enough to have a lie-in. I particularly liked the Nespresso coffee machine and enjoyed the some of the local touches especially the plum Pálinka! Close to: Fishmans Bastion and Mattius Church 5 mins walk Incredible views of looking over Budapest. Sit on the walls at sunset and listen to local musicians play some beautiful music. Also some great food close by. Grocery store 5 mins walk Buda castle 15 mins walk Chain bridge 15 mins walk

Walked every day to either Buda or to the river to grab the Hop on Hop off bus. Staff directions perfect and they booked us for tickets, tours and cabs.

Very nice stay and friendly staff.Got all the amenities to cook so u got only one meal offered which is the traditional hungarian cuisine. Very fresh but may not be pleasing to all. Bathroom could have been a little better.Location is very good so overall the hotel and ambiance of the country around was pleasing to stay.

From booking to checkout, the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Hotel was in a good location for us, close to a subway/tram/bus terminal and within walking distance to many sites. Breakfast was very nice. The seating area is somewhat small, but the hotel accommodated that by scheduling there preferred times for each floor.

Great location to tour Buda side of Danube.
This hotel is a boutique style hotel with pleasant rooms and a nice breakfast. It is just a very short walk to the Fisherman's Bastion, St. Matthias church and Castle Hill. We would definitely stay there on a return visit.

Nice Location and very helpful staff
The location of the hotel is very good right on the foothill of Mathias Church and Fishermans Bastion which are a short walk uphill. The nearest metro stop is about 12 minutes walk away where you can take the M2. Walk to the river is about 10 minutes away as well. The suites are equipped with a full kitchenette with microwave, kettle, oven, hob and fridge-freezer. The complimentary bottles of water and beer in the fridge are very welcoming. When we arrived we were told that we will have to change the rooms the next day as there were some problems with the bookings. The hotel staff moved our stuff the next morning. The second suite we got was a bit smaller, did not have the washing machine (which did not matter as we were not going to use it). But we found out later that the oven was not working when we tried to grill the pizza. We were offered to use the oven the next room. So overall, a good place to stay. The furnishings are brand new and modern with very comfortable beds.

Picked this hotel at random.....was an excellent choice! Location was great, although I was unsure as we drove into a neighborhood and was looking at apartment buildings. This "hotel" really is more like a 3 room flat. The hotel staff was very helpful for us and we enjoyed not being in a busy hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Perfetto. La location è complicata con un bebè
La mia esperienza è quella con un neonato. L hotel é pulito e confortevole. A pochi passi da Buda e a 7 minuti a piedi dalla metro per Pest. Se avete un neonato o un passeggino, tutto è più complicato per via delle scale. Staff cordiale e disponibile. Colazione non abbondante ma sufficiente.

훌륭한 숙박시설
부다성과 어부의 요새와 무지 가까움. 가족여행으로 4인가족 갔는데 패밀리룸 잡았는데 아주 마음에 들었음. 쇼파베드로 하면 6인 7인도 가능할듯... 아침 식사도 간단한 하지만 깔끔하고 커피가 맛있음. 단지 하나! 엘리베이터가 없어서 힘듬.
