Great hotel, good location in city centre

Posted 18-May-2017
Cons: The wi-fi did not work in my first room, but they quickly got me another room where it worked.
I was only visiting Budapest for a few days, but this hotel was great! It's in the city centre area and it's very easy to walk (or take a cab or public transportation if you prefer) to different areas for food, shopping, museums, etc. The staff was very friendly, and they helped me figure out the best way to get to the airport for my flight home. The room was comfortable, and I would stay there again.

Great hotel in a great location

Posted 23-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Quick city break weekend and a great hotel in a great location. Although we didn't spend much time in the hotel, the staff were friendly and the room was great. Clean and big enough. Lots of great bars and restaurants within a 5/10min walk away which was brilliant with it being -5 degrees! The only down side was there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Nice hotel, pretty good location, but a little out

Posted 06-Jan-2017
Pros: Service, staff, location, price, breakfast was not bad for the price
Cons: Rooms have to be updated, room's facilities, room's accessories and services - in short - rooms aren't the best
Location: Supermarkets, some restaurants, a Metro station (5-6 minutes away) + a tram station, as mentioned before: 7-8 walk minutes from Vaci Utca
Location is Good. Service is very good - staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are so - so. 2 out of 5. The room is not small but is kinda outdated and at first even smells a little. there's a small window with no good view. Facilities are ok - there's a safe, a mini bar (filled with stuff but there's a small room to add a little), a closet, a tv, and air conditioning. The shower is okay but not maintained well. Shampoos are not replaced/added daily, and you don't get a lotion/razor/cue tips or other stuff you might expect from a 4 star (also replacement of shower stuff). They have no pool but they do have a nice spa (dry and wet Sauna) and a warm Jacuzzi + massages area. Supermarkets around and also public transportation and a few places to eat/change. Also close to a nice night life area. 10 - 15 minutes walk from Deak Ter (center) and 7-8 to Vaci Utca. Overall we really enjoyed the stay. Reasonable prices and good experience. Breakfast is not bad. Costs 12 Euros and you get some cheese/ham, eggs, fruits, bacon, bread/rolls/etc, sweet bakeries, juices, yogurt, jams, etc, and coffee. I do add to the score thanks to the excellent and service and nice stuff. It did feel like a good hotel overall. Recommended - 4/5

Great value for money room.

Everything was very good. The hotel itself, the breakfast, the staff, the facilities, it's location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The only think that they should have is a swimming suit. They offer Jacuzzi but you need to get in wearing a swimming suit. Budapest is famous for the it's spas etc and we couldn't find nowhere to buy a swimming suit in order to use these facilities. This is just a suggestion.

Pros: The staff were professional and helpful Booked trips and taxis for us - no problem
Cons: In room toiletries
Location: A 10 minute walk to the Danube and Vaci street - quiet streets just off the a main rod Christmas Markets, Szimpla Bar and various other location.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Museum Hotel. Convenient for the Christmas Markets and an enjoyable walk to the Danube

Great location

Posted 12-Nov-2016
The hotel is in a prime location, just around the corner from the Jewish district where you'll find all the bars and restaurants you'll ever need. Our room was compact, it could've had more storage to be honest but it was nicely designed and clean. My girlfriend had a bad eye infection whilst we stayed and the hotel manager made a point of booking us an appointment with an eye specialist, which would've been a nightmare if we had to make the call! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Great base to explore Budapest from. FYI - if you're looking for a quiet stay, book mon - fri. The weekends are full on and hence the people staying can be noisy on the weekend.
