Super clean, convenient & 5 min away from airport
I was pleasantly surprised with how clean this place was, given the price. We slept for 4 hours from 12:30 am to 4 am instead of staying at the airport for an overnight transit. The only problem was the guy at the front desk. He's kind and cheerful, but he took forever to check us in, because he was answering too many other calls. Maybe there needs to be another person to help at the front desk.

Convenient by the airport - but not a family hotel
This was advertised as a great place for families… this it is not! It is placed amongst garages in a purely industrial area. It is more of a Motel than a family hotel. It was very noisy at night and the walls are very thin… sounded like the room next door was more of “by the hour” rental. Not possible to get anything to eat if you arrive in the evening. It is very conveniently placed by the airport so great for crashing for a few hours between connections. The receptionist was friendly

Decent for the price and proximity to the airport.
It's a decent hotel near the airport if you go into it with the understanding that it's a no frills hotel. The staff were great and friendly. When you get in, make sure you ask for a remote for the AC unit in the room. It's within about a 2 minute walking distance of a bus stop, but getting to city center takes about an hour via public transport. (Note: I was there on a Sunday so the buses don't run as frequently. It may be a little quicker on week days.) They were very accommodating.

If you need a no-frills hotel 10 minutes from Budapest's international airport that is convenient with a very friendly staff and a very inexpensive price, I recommend it very highly. They also have an inexpensive shuttle to and from the airport. I don't believe, however, that this is the sort of hotel that would work for a longer stay for exploring Budapest and other areas of Hungary. But as a place for a night before or after a flight to Hungary it is a bargain,

Convenient for the airport only
The first thing they told us upon checking in was that our room was not a hotel room but rather a hostel but that we could pay 10 euro to upgrade to an ensuite. Perhaps this was my mistake when booking however I assume my own bathroom when booking what is called a hotel. Staff were very friendly but this was a necessity-hotel conveniently located near the airport and not one which made me feel warm and fuzzy. The aipport shuttle was a further 6 euro so this very simple hotel ending up costing more than some of our nicer hotels located in city centres. The sauna was out of order.

Nice hotel close to the airport
A good choice for a short layover in Budapest very close to the airport so if you need to wait a day for your connecting flight is an excellent choice

Good clean hotel at the airport
Good honest hotel with everything you need. Responsive shuttle, little bar. Good hearty breakfast at 4 am. Helpful staff. Large rooms at good price. I have nothing bad to say.

Cheap Airport hotel
Hotel was clean and simple but about what I expected for the price. It would be a good choice if you have a layover at the airport and only need to sleep for a few hours. Not much nearby if you need to get some food. Airport shuttle is good to have. Breakfast was available from 4am and was a good selection of cold meats, cheeses and breads etc. Overall, would recommend as a good option for an airport hotel.

Stayed only 1 night on a layover. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and has a shuttle service to the airport every 20 mins. The shuttle is not included in the hotel price.

Hotel Ferihegy provides cost-effective lodgings if you want to stay near the airport. The shuttle service to the airport is convenient, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. My only real complaint is the terrible WiFi service -- it's a very weak connection that often doesn't work.

No way to be nice so just read the review.
Someone had left a wrapper in the shared shower from an intimimate moment. Room looked nothing like the photo, mattress was 4 inches thick at best. Very hot room no air con or even a fan. A shade away from a hostel.

Perfect location close to the airport. Breakfast starts at 4 in the morning which was ideal as we had an early flight. Shuttle service provided for travelling to the airport was brilliant and cheap! Overall an ideal hotel for a nights stay before a flight.

Good for an early flight
The room is basic. Really basic. The staff are nice and helpful. But you just want to sleep here. Very old world, and not so much in charming way. Nevertheless, it served a purpose. There's a good restaurant about a five minute walk down the street.

Very basic & worn
This is a very old basic but clean hotel. Staff ok but unable to get food at 10pm at night on arrival or a cup of tea we booked a double room & were given a triple with 3 narrow uncomfortable single beds. Room very clean & breakfast was fine but hotel old carpets worn & needs everything upgrading. Very cheap & ok for a 8hour stay transport back to airport efficient but more expensive than a taxi.

For an early flight out of Budapest.

One Nighter Only
We arrived very late at night so this was perfect for a one night stay near the airport. There wasn't any air conditioning and the room did get very hot. it was clean and there was a decent breakfast buffet. I would only recommend this hotel for those traveling at late hours who need to be close to the airport.
