Luxury hotel near central Budapest
Helpful efficient yet unobtrusive staff, beautiful marble decor, comfortable room, and a convenient location.
I had a feverish cold and felt pretty miserable by the end of a 10 hour journey, but the room, and especially the bed, were so lovely that I was able to relax and recover in comfort.
Visited the Opera House and saw Romeo and Juliette, ballet. Would recommend booking tickets online before your visit to take advantage of full ticket choice; there's a huge variation in price.
The hop-on, hop-off buses stop right outside the door, for the "New York Cafe" which adjoins the hotel, so are very convenient.
We ate at the Tofea Grill, a buffet restaurant, and enjoyed the food, and especially the company as we shared a table with 7 or 8 others, Italians and Greeks.
