We take pride of our breakfast- our guests can enjoy unlimited Illy coffee (espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano), which is made fresh on demand. We serve freshly squeezed orange juice, natural apple juice from a local supplier, hot chocolate and a variety of teas. Next to in house baked bread, Kaiser rolls, brown bread rolls with pumpkins seeds, croissants, pains du chocolat and Danish pastry, we make fresh waffles on demand. We serve yoghurt and milk, our own granola, different type of cereals, mixed nuts, dried fruits and of course a fresh fruit salad with seasonal fruit. The buffet includes a selection of cold cuts (turkey, beef pastrami, salami, pepper sausage and pork ham) and local cheeses. All of them are made by farmers from the Romanian country side. Next to that we serve boiled eggs, fresh vegetables, a selection of jams, honey and chocolate pasta, a home made humus and a typical Romanian zacusca, a mixture of wood grilled egg plant, tomato and onions. For the vegan guests we provide soy milk for the coffee and cereals. This is all included in the price of the room, no extra charges are made. We hope that you will come back to Rembrandt! Yes, indeed Rembrandt Hotel (building wise) is quirky, and by quirky I mean original :). The hotel bulding is a historical one, which dates from 1925. At the moment we transformed it into a hotel in 2005 we had done serious renovation to it, but at the same time wished to keep its original and special features. At the moment of booking we offer all our guests the possibility to choose the room. Thus, one can book a Business Class room (35 sm)- huge space and comfort, with street view; a Standard Class room (25 sm)- a little bit smaller but with the same facilities as the Business, no street view, very quiet. Our smallest room types are represented by the Tourist Class rooms (10 and 15 sm), with very good rates, usually chosen by young people and transit tourists. It could have been very helpful for me to know exactly what you were overcharged so i can offer an honest answer to all people here reading your review! Regarding the structure of the hotel/bulding wise I would like to inform you the hotel bulding is a historical one, which dates from 1925. At the moment we decided to transform it into a hotel in 2005 we had done serious renovation to it, but at the same time wished to keep its original and special features. Regarding the room you had booked, please allow me to offer you some explanations (the same ones you had got in the confirmation email). All Standard Class rooms (except the balcony room- our most special room ;) are situated on the back side, with no street view, but very comfortable (25 sm) and quiet. We do have guests who require these types of rooms just for the silence they offer. At the moment of booking we offer all our guests the possibility to choose the room. Thus, one can book a Business Class room (35 sm)- huge space and comfort, with street view; a Standard Class room (25 sm)- a little bit smaller but with the same facilities as the Business, no street view, very quiet. Our smallest room types are represented by the Tourist Class rooms (10 and 15 sm) usually chosed by young people and transit tourists.
