Great place to stay, clean, quiet and helpful staff. Easy to get to the city in less than 10 minutes by tram. We also did a day trip by train to Brugge which was very easy and highly recommended. Travellers tip, plenty of places in the station to get breakfast and take back to your room.
The hotel was really easy to get to being opposite the railway station once we had worked out which side of the station it was! The hotel was generally clean and comfortable, although I found a nail clipping under the bed. There were no tea or coffee making facilities but we took a camping kettle which worked well for us. Breakfast was available at the hotel but was expensive although cheap eating was available at the station - great cafes and shops. 15 minute walk to the Grand Place was easy once we were in the right street. Lots of dodgy characters around but that was true of all of Brussels, lots of armed police too.

This hotel is convenient for the Midi Station Brussels. The staff are all friendly and the room was in excellent condition. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options and they even got in gluten free bread for me!

"Charming and quiet hotel within a walking distance"
Second time, second year in a row. Proximity to train station & Breakfast won again.
Room was clean.
There were sounds of shooting / fireworks near the hotel at the middle of one of the nights, I would expect at least some explaining about that from the crew, at the morning after, to reassure everything is fine.

An industrial suburb of Brussels, Anderlecht will sound familiar to any keen soccer fan as home of Belgium’s best-known football club. Its main landmark is the airy spire of the huge 14th-century gothic church of Sts-Pierre-et-Guidon. Other attractions include the Gueuze Museum, a family-run brewery producing classic Belgian beers (tours and tastings), Erasmus House, where the great scholar Erasmus lived in 1521, and a sewer museum.
