There was a little bit of problem with check-in (agent couldn't find my reservation, which was right in his face until his colleague found it in .05 seconds!), but not a big deal. Check-in was a breeze after. Room assigned was big, very clean, comfortable bed. While I didn't find the surrounding area sketchy (like other reviewers have mentioned), there weren't many choices for food. Area is quite convenient to go to Grand Place (central Brussels) as it's close to a metro station (Hotel des Monnaies) and it's even walkable (if you choose to walk - about 30 minutes). Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay again at the hotel next time I'm back in Brussels.
