Pleasant stay - would recommend
Very enjoyable stay in Bruges - hotel about a 20 min walk into the centre. Parking easy and plentiful. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Rooms comfortable but would have appreciated a kettle in the room to make tea and also a mirror (only one was in the bathroom)

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, really comfy beds and a wonderful breakfast! Only issue is the walls are quite thin and we could hear a lot of noise in the hallway and from the room next door (even a phone vibrating everytime the occupants got a message) Hotel was within walking distance of the city centre (around 40 minutes) but there are plenty of taxis. You can even rent a bicycle from the hotel.

Excellent staff, service and location
Great staff, fantastic service. We informed them about travelling with a baby, and they promptly set a baby cot in the room ready for us at check in. Brilliant location, conveniently located at a quiet locality just north of Bruges and next to a supermarket - 13 mins drive from Biekorf car park. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Hotel in Bruges
Excellent quiet hotel to stay at in Bruges. It’s a 10-12 minute drive from the historic downtown and the hotel offers Taxi vouchers for a flat rate of €12. The front desk staff are incredible. They gave us a map of the town, explained all the different ways to get there, and even circled the poor “tourist trap” restaurants and said to avoid them. The gym has some weight machines and a treadmill but it is only for walking, it doesn’t go fast enough to run. However there is a great running trail around the hotel of around 1KM. We ordered tapas menu from the restaurant and it was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Food at dinner needs to be improved a lot. Not acceptable for a four hotel star. Internet was terrible. Lower than 20gbs! And some areas, like in the gym, there was no internet.

Regarding the Wifi, we know that there isn't much Wifi in the fitness area, as people do not use is there. This was an excellent hotel with very nice personnel. The rooms were clean and we had a nice view. We rented bikes and rode them into the City, and it was spectacular. I had a few questions for the hotel before we arrived, and they were very responsive!

Staff were really helpful and allowed us to check in early because the room was available. They gave us a map of the local area and pointed us in the direction of local attractions at the time (Christmas market). Room was exactly as advertised, clean and with all the amenities needed. My only small issue was that the room was a little chilly in the morning, but it was very cold outside. The thermostat didn’t seem to help. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Lovely 2 night stay.
Lovely hotel in a peaceful area with very helpful friendly staff especially in the bar area and reception. Great selection of breakfast items to choose from. Easy to navigate into the heart of Brugge on foot if you allow 20-30 minutes. We walked everywhere and it is easily achieved. We would stay here again if we revisit Bruges.

Hotel was easy to find by car and had ample parking. Room was a good size and bed was extremely comfortable. Found clothes rail very high and difficult to reach and TV volume very low even at max. Outside area rather uninspiring and bus stop was wasn’t very near.

Good cheap clean place to stop for weekend in brugges. Decent breakfast, 3km walk to centre. 35 minute walk. Can't go wrong with this place

The location was perfect for getting into and around Bruges. Plenty of parking for larger vehicles as well. All the staff were friendly and extremely good at their jobs. Hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size. We didn’t eat in the hotel but the food looked good.

A really nice place to stay.
A lovely place to stay. From check in to out, a warm team were available. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. No noise from other rooms or outside. We dined and the food was very good and reasonable. The dining team were also friendly and efficient. The exterior of hotel was very pleasant. We would love to stay again and would recommend to others. It is a little out of centre but a 30min walk or short taxi ride but this should not hinder anyone to book. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A very welcoming receptionist who gave us useful information about the area, a nice restaurant with garden and a pleasant enough 30min walk into the centre of Brugge. We would stay here again.

A real find
An absolute gem! A real lovely surprise! The service was good, the rooms were lovely, and we were able to borrow some bicycles to go into Bruges. We'll definitely be coming back!!

Convenient stay outside city centre. Good sport facilities if you wanted them. Breakfast expensive and would have hoped for a bottle of water in the room!

All good , except in the low floor you may need to put so light fabric on the window. For privacy … and get real coffee capsules but this one are not make for compatibility with the coffee maker

A hotel close enough to go into the city centre very quickly, yet far enough to experience tranquillity of the suburban area. Free parking is a perfect bonus for us too! We did not try out the dinner or breakfast, so couldn't comment on them, but all the staff we met there were very nice. Well done, and there will be doubt we'll be staying at this hotel in the future, whenever we come visit Bruges again.

Good choice.

Perfect for visiting Brugge
Velotel is the perfect hotel for visiting Brugge and surroundings, especially by bicycle. Bike storage widely available, including charging point for e-bikes. Super friendly and helpful staff, tasty food at the restaurant. Rooms are equipped with clever details and have excellent showers. Would definitely stay here again!
