A Great Hotel in a Perfect Location

Posted 08-Jan-2018
We loved this hotel. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and the staff was always extremely helpful. They arranged a taxi van to take our 6 person group to the train station. Breakfast at Juliette's was a highlight! Our only regret was that we only stayed one night in this lovely town and hotel!

Great hotel, located near everything

Posted 07-Jan-2018
Only stayed a night, but enjoyed our short visit. Friendly accommodating staff. Nice bar with a local beer selection. Loved that it's located near shops, cafes and attractions. They were kind enough to hold our bags for the day while we wandered the city. Bonus points for shower water pressure and HOT water!

excellent location

Posted 03-Jan-2018
Pros: The location is perfect
Cons: The check out is really slow. Not sure why they need a credit card guarantee on check in even if rooms are prepaid.Rooms dont have much view.
Location: The square and all bars and points of interest are nearby
The hotel is at the heart of Bruges, just steps away from the main square.

Perfect location, but needs some renovation and new carpet.

Hotel expensive for what you get.

Very central so great location. Rooms are clean. We were able to use secure parking for the advertised fee. However, had to queue for ages to check in and out; there were no complimentary tea and coffee facilities in the room; and rooms were pretty basic for the price you pay. Seen better budget hotel room!

Start to finish terrible

Posted 28-Dec-2017
Checked in staff were sooo rude and not helpful at all, room was very old and dirty. I think the sheets on our bed were left on from the previous people because they smelt soooo bad! Whenever we asked a question they would never give us an answer just say “I don’t know”. What really annoyed me was when we asked where should we eat and they said everything is booked. The man behind us asked the same thing and they booked him a table at a restaurant. I was appalled!

Value for money including excellent location

Posted 28-Dec-2017
Pros: found all the staff welcoming, attentive and accommodating, spacious lobby, Martyn's bar had a happy hour to try their own brewery's beer.
Cons: Found the breakfast pricey at 15 Euros per person per day.
Location: Could not be in a better location within 1 minute of most landmarks, museums, restaurants and shops. The scenery is brilliant and also great at night
Stayed on December 2017 and found all the staff welcoming, attentive and accommodating, spacious lobby, Martin's bar had a happy hour to try their own brewery's beer. Got the requested lovely flowers before arrival, reported a faulty mirror light and was fixed straight away. Got a brilliant deal with Expedia for 3 nights and the whole town was extremely romantic and accessible within walking distance. Found the breakfast pricey at 15 Euros per person per day. Will be going back to the same hotel as soon as possible.

Very expensive without facilities to match

Posted 23-Dec-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Value for money Facilities Tea and coffee in the room Room condition
Location: Centrally located for all Brugge activities
Quite disappointed with the hotel, it is expensive but the services and facilities don't match the price. Not even tea and coffee in the room, €20 each for breakfast even for children, €30/day for parking! Air conditioning that didn't work, Windows that didn't open, no other facilities - no gym or anything. Basic pod bathroom. Location is convenient it is centrally located. I wouldn't stay here again felt a bit ripped off.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, why not 4 star?

I had a fantastic stay at Martins Brugge from 15th to 17th of December. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms are stunning. Would recommend very highly!
