This hotel is in a 400 year old building which literally sits on one of the canals in Brugge. The staff are friendly and quite helpful, the hotel is in the center of Brugge, which is an exceptional example of a medieval European town as it was pretty much untouched during the first and second world wars. The architecture of the buildings is amazing, the streets all cobblestone. The hotel is literally about a hundred yards from the center of town. You will find outstanding restaurants, beer gardens, tea rooms, chocolate shops and many museums to visit. I would definitely stay at the Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce again on my next visit to Brugge.
