Great location and wonderful staff

Posted 09-Mar-2016
Pros: Location and staff made this hotel. Great rooms, romantic setting.
Cons: No tea and coffee in the room, although bottled water was provided.
Location: Easy reach to the market, boat trips, bell tower, lots of wonderful cafes to sit and watch the world go by.
Welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. Late check in was no issue, even opened the bar for us so we could have a drink after our journey. Room was upgraded for us but I have no doubt all rooms are of an excellent standard. Room had a view of the canal, was warm, quiet and the bathroom came with dressing gowns! Great location, the market square only 5 minutes walk, as are most points of interest. All staff were helpful, directions and map provided, tips of where to eat and where to go, even bookings made for dinner!

Genuinely lovely boutique hotel

Posted 31-Dec-2015
Pros: Please see above - think I have said it all there.
Cons: No specific suggestions come to mind...we were most happy with everything.
Location: Best central location. On beautiful corner of main canal....easy walk to all restaurants, shops, main historic attractions.
Very pretty claasic, genuinely small boutique hotel. Perfect central location - probably most photographed private building in Bruges. The best bit was the lovely nothing-too-much-trouble friendly staff. Thank you to them!

Excellent Boutique Hotel that Personifies Bruges

Posted 20-Dec-2015
Pros: The hotel and rooms were definitely a boutique hotel experience, not just a write-up on a hotel website.
Location: Located on the picturesque canal within 10 minute walking distances to many great restaurants, shopping experiences, museums and historical sites.
The hotel and staff exceeded all expectations for our stay in Bruges. It's clearly a luxury hotel with a staff that goes out of their way to make you feel special and comfortable in your stay. They were very accommodating making dinner reservations and suggesting experiences to see around Bruges. Everything from the incredible artwork in the hotel lobby to the spacious and recently upgraded rooms were amazing. The breakfast experience overlooking the canal made every morning enjoyable with the staff. It is a must return destination and hotel experience we will do again.

Beautiful hotel, ideally located. Great staff.

Posted 10-Dec-2015
I can't say enough how lovely this hotel and its staff are. In a beautiful location overlooking the canal, right near the "beer wall" bar (don't worry, it closes at 730pm so they won't keep you up), just down from the main square. Breakfast was lovely, as were the staff who couldn't be more attentive and you got the feeling they genuinely wanted to help you enjoy your stay. Will certainly be returning.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Bruges

Posted 27-Nov-2015
Pros: Helpful staff, beautiful room, fantastic location, amazing art in the communal areas.
Location: Belfry tower, it's a great view and it's worth it to see the music-box workings. For breakfast/brunch and shopping head south to Katelijnestraat.
The hotel is small, beautiful and perfectly positioned in the heart of Bruges. The staff were super helpful and the room very comfortable and quiet. We were a little concerned about it's location next to the lift but we didn't hear it at all. It's also the hotel where the hitmen stayed in the excellent film 'In Bruges'. Make sure to check out the amazing artworks in and around reception.

Fabulous hotel and very close to central square.

Posted 24-Nov-2015
Pros: Location, very clean and friendly staff.
Location: Located very close to the center of Bruges. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Witching walking distance of great architecture and canals.
Hotel easy to fine. Perfect location and is within easy walking distance to shops/central square. Staff very courteous and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Room was beautiful and very clean. A modern hotel in a shabby chic way. Best hotel shower I have every had! Would be very happy to sat here again!
