Great staff but lousy pillows

Posted 01-Apr-2016
Enjoyed our brief stay but the pillows were rock hard and made for a tough nights sleep! Make sure to request a softer pillow.

Close to the centre

Posted 22-Mar-2016
Pros: Location, style, amenities
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great for location and very ventral for everywhere. Boat around canal, took 30 minutes, useful way of seeing highlights in Bruges.
The hotel was located just off Burg Square, brilliant position. Lots of restaurants and cafes pin Bruges. Flew to Brussels, coach from airport to station and then caught train to Bruges. Easy, coaches run from airport every half hour, takes 50/55 minutes. Trains on time and lots of trains going to Bruges. Went into Brussels on way back before travelling home, didn't think much to Brussels unfortunately.

Beautiful , central hotel.

Posted 22-Mar-2016
Pros: The breakfast, the bar area, the rooms (especially the bathroom).
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The hotel is right in the centre of Bruges. It's near everything a traveller might want to see: museums; Restaurants and interesting buildings.
The Grand Hotel Casselburgh was a great place to stay. The rooms were large , bathrooms clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The bar is spacious and extremely comfortable . The breakfast buffet is magnificent and the staff attentive and quick to bring the teas and coffees. The hotel is in the most marvellous position, central but also quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a luxury break in lovely Bruges.

Pros: Central location Parking available Easy to find Comfort
Location: Central, close to Markt Square. Canal boat trip, horse-drawn carriage ride, chocolate museum, beer museum, shopping and eating within 10 mins walk
We stayed 2 nights in March 2016. Having driven from Calais the hotel was relatively easy to find. Very welcoming - friendly staff. Room was excellent and very clean - good state of repair. Lovely breakfast buffet - hot and cold. Hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Bruges - very central, close to Markt Square and dozens of restaurants/cafes.

Great hotel

Posted 13-Mar-2016
Really convenient for the town centre. We had a lovely suite in the old part of the hotel with a view of the Belfry. Bar is very elegant and reasonably priced. Breakfast was varied and plentiful - good coffee. Staff helpful but sometimes a little elusive. No restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat in Bruges. Would go back.

Cons: Parking is limited would pay to book your space 20 € per night
Location: It's in the perfect location right in the centre
Beautiful place loved the boat trip you have to get Roy as your skipper he is hilarious .Even though the restaurant right opposite was in the film in Bruges don't be tempted to eat there the mussels in cream and garlic were the most expensive and tasteless I have ever had and served by the most miserable waiter.Everywhere else we tried was lovely and friendly
