A beautifully appointed centrally located hotel

Posted 27-Sep-2016
Pros: The location couldn't be bettered: very central but just away from the bustle enough to be quiet.
Really, nothing to fault. Having seen the photos it would have been nice to have a room in the old part of the hotel. (I expect those rooms are more in demand and pricier, so this isn't actually a fault!)

Hotel close to centre of city centre.

Posted 23-Sep-2016
Hotel is in the very centre of Bruges and I would recommend it to anyone. However if you are a wheelchair user there are a number of stairs to negotiate from the hotel entrance. Also it was disappointing that there was no porters for luggage transfers. There is a garage below the hotel which costs 25€ per night which I would recommend. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfasts are excellent.

Wonderful hotel very close to the centre of Bruge

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing for me but they will find something as they are definitely into customer service.
Location: You can't get any closer without it being nosier, so this is a perfect place to stay, the museum (which is brilliant) is v near.
This hotel is without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in, without exception! The room was well equipped and luxurious, the bathroom was huge and the walk in shower was fantastic. Staff in the hotel were exceptional, they went out of their way to help us including, freezing my husbands ice pack for his back, arranging our return journey taxi after we had been let down by Airport Taxis, offering each guest an umbrella on the day it rained. Breakfast was phenomenal, cooked english, pastries, continental and it was beautifully presented and fresh. The bar area is just beautiful with comfy chairs, excellent waiting staff who go out of there way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Bruge is a beautiful city made all the more lovely by its people but definitely the hotel made our stay that bit more special and the icing on the cake; it was not the most expensive! Book it you won't be disappointed! My only tip is, don't use Expedia for anything else other than booking the hotel, go direct to the hotel and email if you need anything else, restaurants, taxi's as they get the best service and price for you.

Overall good experience.

Overall was a great hotel, we did however have to ask three times for blood stains to be cleaned from the bathtub before they finally cleaned them. Beautiful property and great location.

Fantastic location and best hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: Another web site
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location, 2 minute walk tot he town centre and square
We have just returned from a great weekend away in Bruges. This hotel is fantastic and the staff are all really friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the beds are very comfortable. We upgraded to a cancel view room but due to a building in front of us we had a partial view so not really sure that was worth an extra 70 euros. The only downside on the morning we were leaving the outside roadwork's sprung leak so the water was turned off for a couple of hours. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Pros: RECEPTION AREA. THE COMFORTABLE ROOMS. VIEW OVER A CANAL. BREAKFAST SUPERB.
Location: THE BEST. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING BUT IN A CALM AND QUIET AREA. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS AND EVERYTHING ELSE AT HAND.
VERY CLASSY HOTEL WITH AMAZING EUROPEAN AMBIANCE. THE DECOR AND THE BUILDING ITSELF FANTASTIC.

Great location tucked near the square

Posted 07-Sep-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Stairs
Location: Square and restaurants nearby. Close to canals too.
Hotel is lovely and staff are very welcoming. Only complaint is the stairs to the new section of hotel are hard to navigate with luggage.

Great central position, very helpful staff.

Posted 01-Sep-2016
This hotel is an a great position, just a short walk (5 minutes) from the centre and the main attractions. This was our second stay at this hotel, both times in a standard comfort room. These are perfectly adequate with a large bed and good bathroom. Quiet at night. The staff are very helpful.

Excellently placed & "Grand " hotel in every way

Posted 25-Aug-2016
Pros: Location, ambience and decor.
Cons: USB ports / global electric sockets in rooms, so that anyone from anywhere in the world can do without adapters !
Location: Located within a few yards of market & Burg Square, the hubbub of Bruges from where all tours start, close to canal/boat rides.
I recently stayed here for two nights with my husband in a canal-side room , and I cannot fault the hotel. It is located within a few yards of the Market Square and Burg Square where there are many historical highlights and is the Bruges hubbub. Quick Taxi ride costing approx Euro 8 to the train station. The hotel had beautiful high-class decor and lounge furniture. Hotel staff good & helpful, we were given an electric adapter on loan( I didn't know electric plugs were different from the UK ! ) , which a modern Brussels hotel could not provide us with. We had no opportunity to try out food & drink at the Casselbergh because we ate waffles & chocolates & tasted beer at all hours while in the city, but the prices seemed reasonable . Lovely, cosy rooms . Will not hesitate to stay again, if I visit Bruges again.

Vacanza di 4 giorni a bruges. Camere spaziose, letti comodi e box doccia e vasca grande. L'unica pecca manca la piscina.
