Excellently placed & "Grand " hotel in every way

Posted 25-Aug-2016
Pros: Location, ambience and decor.
Cons: USB ports / global electric sockets in rooms, so that anyone from anywhere in the world can do without adapters !
Location: Located within a few yards of market & Burg Square, the hubbub of Bruges from where all tours start, close to canal/boat rides.
I recently stayed here for two nights with my husband in a canal-side room , and I cannot fault the hotel. It is located within a few yards of the Market Square and Burg Square where there are many historical highlights and is the Bruges hubbub. Quick Taxi ride costing approx Euro 8 to the train station. The hotel had beautiful high-class decor and lounge furniture. Hotel staff good & helpful, we were given an electric adapter on loan( I didn't know electric plugs were different from the UK ! ) , which a modern Brussels hotel could not provide us with. We had no opportunity to try out food & drink at the Casselbergh because we ate waffles & chocolates & tasted beer at all hours while in the city, but the prices seemed reasonable . Lovely, cosy rooms . Will not hesitate to stay again, if I visit Bruges again.

Perfect location yet quiet and comfortable. Grand entrance. Parking excellent and convenient and safe. Breakfast was lavish and worth extra €25. Elegant surroundings made a perfect short break. Highly recommend this hotel. Would like to return.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing
The hotel is lovely and perfectly situated to the main attractions in Bruges. The staff is efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and they provide both a shower and a separate bath. There is nothing I would improve here. Breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of breakfast items to chose from. i would definitely stay here again.

Lovely break in Bruges

Posted 30-Jul-2016
Location: Perfect location in the centre of this gorgeous medieval city, close to restaurants, canal boat rides, museums and shopping.
I stayed 3 nights here after a whirlwind coach tour and it was the perfect city and the perfect hotel. The breakfast (included for my room rate) was varied and delicious, the room had a bathtub and a shower and was very comfortable.

A nice comfortable hotel for our young family

Posted 22-Jul-2016
We chose a room with canel view, which has a window seat overlooking the canel and a bar downstairs. The location is perfect, close to the market and the square, and within walking distance to all the major sights for visitors. We love it and will be staying at the same hotel next time. The staffs are very helpful, and we had made an error in the original booking but the staffs have endeavour to help us sort it out! Thanks a lot for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

Pros: grosse Zimmer, sehr ruhig (zum Hof), schoenes grosses Bad (Wanne + Dusche), alles super sauber.
Cons: die Betten sind fuer meinen Geschmack zu weich
