Loved it
This hotel was far better than we expected. It’s beautiful and has been thoughtfully refurbished. We stayed in the lovers room which was a little dusty but really quirky and we loved it. I think it could be a good family room. The gym isn’t great but I appreciate most people aren’t bothered about training whilst away. Staff were great and so welcoming

Happy with the service but carpets from the foyer dirty and worn. Dog mess had been walked into the main entrance and was still there some hours later. Very noisy people in the room above till gone 11pm.

Exceeded my expectations. Beautiful building and friendly helpful staff (could communicate in multiple languages). The layout with the courtyard is unique and very pretty. Excellent breakfast. I was a bit sick while I was staying here but felt comfortable and was able to sleep well. Easy waking distance to the centre of Bruges. Felt safe as a solo traveler. 10/10 would stay again!

Our stay was amazing at this hotel, the room was exceptional , three individual beds, very spacious, big bathroom with bathtub and two tv’s . 5 min walk to market and restaurants and 10 min walk to center.

Great hotel and location
Great location, approx 15ns walk to the centre. The room was great, clean and with excellent facilities. We had a double bed and two singles , big bathroom and a small fridge We paid 25E for parking, which was worth it as hassle free and was very secure. Highly recommend for a great value for money stay.

Superb location to explore the city. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was ok, standard buffet. Price was about the same as a breakfast you would buy in the city but you have better choices in the city. Car parking, although expensive, was great, secure and within the grounds of the hotel. Rooms were small but perfectly fine for a few nights. No wardrobe space, just some shelves. Beds were comfy. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Rooms lacked ventilation especially it was raining and besides roof windows, there was no other ventilation. Soap and other essentials were not replenished and was empty. Breakfast was OK, not that great either. Reception staff was good, but breakfast host was grumpy at the best! Not worth the value for money.

The hotel is located in an ideal position with easy access to Bruges City Centre. The on site parking is important. We have stayed many times and find this hotel ideal in every way

Great location near Old Town
20 minute walk to train station along a lovely pedestrian path. Near to old town, and restaurants and shops. Be advised while there is an elevator, we were unable to get to our room without navigating some stairs. Beautiful old property.

I stayed with my family in a 4 beds room on the top floor. The room was very nice but the sink is very high and my youngest daughter couldn’t reach it.

Good location
Its a lovely hotel in a good location, our room was a good size and very clean. There is an unpleasant smell in the reception are which assume is caused by drains under the building, this is a shame as everywhere in the hotel is very clean. The reception staff were very pleasant but we were surprised that there were no staff after 9pm in the hotel, fortunately this wasn't a problem for us but thought it was unusual. Overall we had a very good stay and can recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with excellent staff
Lovely welcome with excellent, polite, friendly and informative staff. The gentleman that checked us in gave us very useful tourist information. The room was modern and clean and the reception was lovely too. Only downside was being woken up at 9am to building renovation work which we were not informed about. Also the parking was more expensive than the multistory car park down the road which we decided to use instead. Overall would highly recommend this hotel and the location was great too.

The hotel is located well for walking around Bruges. It has a very nice area around the reception and looks grand. The outside is also very nice, with an interior sitting area of garden type. What is not so nice are the rooms. Ours was a rather small, with no wardrobe to speak of and with a very small working desk. Never mind. What was really not good is that the window in the bathroom could not be closed. In mid-October this means feeling cold by night, since there was no working heating either. Having asked at the reception on the mornings of both Friday and Saturday for the problem to be resolved, it was really disappointing to see that after three nights in the hotel absolutely nothing was done. It was also disappointing to find that the room-maid 'forgot' to replenish coffee, milk and sugar on each morning. Last but not least, the member of the staff to whom the complaint about the window was passed was unusually rude.

The lover’s room is unrentable for seniors. No room to turn around. Steep stairs to the bathroom and steep stairs to enter the room. Rent this room only to children.

False advertising
False advertising saying that there is parking onsite (the reason we booked here) to then be told that parking is actually 1400m away and that we needed to reserve parking two weeks in advance (difficult when we only booked the hotel one day in advance!). This should be clearly listed. Breakfast was poor quality and there was no hot food left even 90 minutes before end of Breakfast. Room cleaners incredibly noisy at 0900 when check out is 1100. Hotel reception staff very smug and patronising towards foreign clients. Room across courtyard and quiet but really dated and reminds me of 1990. Really, don't stay here if you value sleep, food or good service. I'll report this to hotels.com to get my money back

Nice hotel, old fashioned style but really noisy... They were rebuilding something from 530 to 8 in the morning with a jackhammer. It's probably nicer when they are done. Superior staff, nice and helpful.

Perfect location
Great check-in service even when we arrived late. We chose this hotel for the on-site parking and were grateful that we did. Very convenient and cheaper than using a garage. It was also the perfect walking distance to the main market square and all of the sites we wanted to see. Lovely, very comfortable hotel.

No frills no thrills and a mad cleaning lady!
Hotel OK, close to downtown Bruges...old style hotel. I was very disappointed to have the cleaning lady knock on my door 3 times from 11 to 11:20 am and the last time so hard that I had to go from telling her through the door to give me 10 more mins to opening the door for her to have her see for herself we were ready to leave but when I do I see that she was Incredibly mad we were overstaying these 20 mins...and very rude told me to get out...literally her words!!!...therefore I will not comeback and will definitely not recommend, far from that - I will tell them to stay away from this place.

The only complaint I have is that we were unable to get a hot drink in an evening, the machine in the conservatory only seemed to be on when reception was open. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be welcome

Very bare minimum amenitites. The shower placement was horrible. Also, drains were slow and tub/shower was not cleaned. Bed was ok. No a/c, and window did not open. Ok overall for the price.
