Nice hotel & great location
My new wife and I stayed here on our mini-moon for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Front desk staff were very kind and upgraded us to a suite, which was quite frankly spectacular! Room was well appointed, clean and spacious.
Location was great, right in the heart of things and we were able to explore most of the mid & north parts of the city in the few days we were there. It's a 20+ minute walk from the station (stopping to take in some of the sites), which wasn't bad but it might be worth taking a taxi if you are carrying more than a shoulder bag.
We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant during our time there, mainly due to the amount of choice on offer within a few minutes walk, but the food looked good.
There was a music festival in the adjacent square for the first night we were there, which the staff were very apologetic about due to the noise, but honestly didn't bother us much and we enjoyed standing out there for a little while listening to some music on our way back from dinner.
Top tip - if you like steak or if you are a meat eater head to a restaurant called "Int Nieuw Museum" which is about 10 minutes wander to the east of the hotel. The guide book I'd brought with us recommended it and we went there the first night. Both agreed it was hands down the best meal we'd ever had. We actually went there 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed in the city, it was that good.
TLDR - Crown Plaza Brugge is definitely worth considering, we'll be heading back next year.
