Excelente hotel.

Posted 01-Dec-2016

Perfect location

Posted 22-Nov-2016
Pros: Clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast
Location: Close by the Markt area. Historium museum in the Markt square was an interesting visit as was the Chocolate museum.
Perfect location for visiting all the historic places in Bruges. Hotel looks recently redecorated and is clean and comfortable. Our room also had a small outside balcony where you could sit on a warm evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay at the Aragon again .

Very professional set up....nice staff...

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Pros: Lovely big room....very clean...excellent breakfast and very central.
Cons: It would be great if they had a proper bar instead of a drinks cupboard. Also they should be less stingy on the tea, coffee and milk sachets in the bedroom and maybe have complimentary biscuits like other hotels.
Location: Very central....great bars and restaurants nearby and nice buildings, churches and cathedral. The torture chamber and the De Halve Man brewery good .

Excellent Hotel in perfect location

Posted 23-Oct-2016
Pros: Food, room, bathroom and location
Cons: Lack of a proper bar
Location: City was excellent
Stayed in October 2016, everything about this hotel was excellent, my only criticism would be the lack of proper bar facilities which we would have used if available. Everything else was perfect 👌

A comfortable and convenient well-run hotel

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: Convenient location Pleasing modernised ancient building Excellent facilities Good breakfast buffet Comfortable room Helpful friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: We used the really good free guided walk which runs daily (see internet). You pay at the end depending on whether you've enjoyed the experience.
The hotel is set in a pleasant narrow cobbled street close to the market place and its ancient tower with campanile. Bruges is a compact city so everything is accessible on foot. Lots of interesting places to visit and many tourist attractions including the relaxing canal boat rides. The hotel seems to be a recent conversion of an ancient building, which has been well thought out and has created a superb hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly, with lists of local restaurants available for instance. Our room was very comfortable with small balcony that looked out into a courtyard and the bell tower in the market place. We had a modern well-equipped bathroom with drencher shower over the bath. A good breakfast buffet is available which includes hot food as well as the usual range of cold choices

Close to main market square but very quiet

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Lovely comfortable room. Large bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities plus a safe. Large Comfy bed. 3 mins walk from market square. Air conditioning which was very welcome as we had a heatwave when we visited. Good cooked and continental breakfast. No complaints at all except one small one....we had a little balcony to sit on but someone else's bathroom window was behind our heads if we stood on it...do we didn't use it.
