This is indeed a very good hotel. Location is great and the room in which we stayed was very big, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.

A comfortable and convenient well-run hotel

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: Convenient location Pleasing modernised ancient building Excellent facilities Good breakfast buffet Comfortable room Helpful friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: We used the really good free guided walk which runs daily (see internet). You pay at the end depending on whether you've enjoyed the experience.
The hotel is set in a pleasant narrow cobbled street close to the market place and its ancient tower with campanile. Bruges is a compact city so everything is accessible on foot. Lots of interesting places to visit and many tourist attractions including the relaxing canal boat rides. The hotel seems to be a recent conversion of an ancient building, which has been well thought out and has created a superb hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly, with lists of local restaurants available for instance. Our room was very comfortable with small balcony that looked out into a courtyard and the bell tower in the market place. We had a modern well-equipped bathroom with drencher shower over the bath. A good breakfast buffet is available which includes hot food as well as the usual range of cold choices

Close to main market square but very quiet

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Lovely comfortable room. Large bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities plus a safe. Large Comfy bed. 3 mins walk from market square. Air conditioning which was very welcome as we had a heatwave when we visited. Good cooked and continental breakfast. No complaints at all except one small one....we had a little balcony to sit on but someone else's bathroom window was behind our heads if we stood on it...do we didn't use it.

Stay here 5 times already.

Posted 14-Sep-2016
Pros: Its central within easy walking distance to the various squares and canals.
Cons: The hotel was recently upgraded all the rooms and public areas done over very tastefully so it does not require any improvements
`Having stayed here for the last 5 years we have always found the staff first class and nothing was to much for them. The location of the hotel down a quiet street but only 5 minutes walk to the main square.

Lovely apartment!Perfect for a family of 4 or more

Posted 05-Sep-2016
This was the first time we went for an apartment type accommodation due to travelling with a baby and we were not disappointed. Only reasons why the hotel didn't get full 5 stars are - no baby change facilities in the hotel lobby toilets so before we could check-in I had to change nappies on the toilet floor (thankfully I had a change mat). Also, room cleaniness was not 5 star but a good 4!

We'll be back

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Five minutes walk from the touristy centre of Brugge. All amenities close.
Upon arrival, on a hot August afternoon, we were greeted by a waft of chilled air, and a warm smile from the young lady on reception. The welcome included a free brochure and map of Brugge, with a quick rundown of the best places to go, for a variety of of activities. Our room was compact, and adequately equipped, with very efficient air con. The bathroom felt most luxurious! Everything was very neat, tidy and clean. Breakfast was equally impressive - the scrambled egg was among the best I have had from any buffet servery. In short, cool, comfortable and welcoming; we would come again.

Très bel hôtel bien situé

Posted 30-Aug-2016

Fantastic hotel

Posted 23-Aug-2016
Had a fantastic stay here. Amazing location, very central and easy to access everything. Very helpful and accommodating staff and a very clean and comfortable room. Did not eat in the hotel though so could not comment on food however due to its central location, many restaurants are just a few minutes walk away
