The hotel is exvellent for the price. Perfect for sightseeing and we had a purpose built triple room, which is very rare.

Good location to tourist sights

The room was a cosey single so I expected it to be small. The bathroom was really small though, similar in size to a cruise ship. Overall the room was fine, staff professional.

Good value in a great location.

Cons: The breakfast was not great, and very expensive. Several alternatives within short walking distance in the main square, but all expensive.
Location: Right across the street from the Belfry, short walk to the main city square.
Great location and beautiful small city! Very historic city with a lot to do and see.

Good Hotel close to the centre of Brugge

Posted 07-Jul-2017
I enjoyed my stay here and would book this hotel again without hesitation. The room was comfortable and clean with the air conditioning being a great boost as I was there in a heatwave. A special mention for the staff member in the bar during Happy Hour. He was very helpful recommending local places to visit and had a great sense of humour. Top man!

Make sure you get a room in the new wing

Posted 29-Jun-2017
My first night I spent repeatedly going down to the desk over a group of men partying on the courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The bar was completely empty and the bartender was serving this group from the bar. They finally shooed these guys out at 12:15 only to be replaced by an employee moving all the heavy metal tables back into place. There was quiet for about five minutes another group gathered, men and women, and I went to the desk and complained. I ended up writing a letter to the hotel manager on their website. The following morning the manager was right at the desk, he apologized profusely and changed us to a room in the new wing that did not overlook the courtyard. The room was very new and much better than the first room. The hotel is in a great location, the breakfast was well presented, the front desk daytime employees accommodating and friendly. Just make sure your room is in the new wing.

Sweat to death

Posted 20-Jun-2017
Pros: Pleasant staff in general.
Cons: COOL THE ROOMS!
Location: Good location. Tons in the area.
This hotel was clean and centrally located. The staff were very nice. However, we stayed there on a fairly warm day 33C 86F and we COULD NOT SLEEP DUE TO THE HEAT IN THE ROOM. My family and I tossed and turned to nearly 4:00 in the morning because the AC in our room would not work. We called reception at 2:30 am to see if there was something they could do, but the person who answered said he was the only one on duty and could not do anything. At about 4:00 in the morning, after getting my two-year-old to sleep finally, some of the staff (I hope) OPENED MY DOOR. They shut it soon after. We were comped breakfast, but that does not make up for the hours of discomfort.

nice hotel right in the centre

Good clean hotel in a very good location just off the main square , good secure underground parking , but expensive , however once parked there's no reason to move it . My only complaint is that having driven a long distance , arriving at 2.00 pm it would have been nice to sit on their back terrace do a drink , Not possible , bar dosnt open until 5.00 pm and no waiter/ waitress service. There are plenty bars near by . Take the free tours around the town , they meet in the square and take you to places the expensive buses won't.
