Family Matters
The front office lady was AMAZING! She helped us a lot on personal matters beyond our expectations! Also, the hotel has great location and is very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Great stay! And pet friendly!
Finally a hotel that actually felt clean and had air conditioned hallways. We only had one issue with the bed, the frame or mattress leaned really bad in once side but it was manageable and still comfortable.

We had so much room in the suite with 2 king beds. Definitely made our trip more enjoyable being able to relax in our own spaces after a long hot day at the zoo and the pool.

We had a terrible experience where the shower didn’t work properly and the hotel was too booked to get a new room. Since it was 11 pm, they couldn’t get maintenance to fix it either. So the hair clogged tub filled to the rim after a couple of showers. The staff was pleasant though and their hands were tied. It’s been a few days since the visit and no one followed up. I called and was told I’m getting points; let’s see how much they do. Felt robbed to pay $250 nightly rate for such an uncomfortable stay. Felt I would’ve been better off at a cheap motel. The only thing that made it better is that the staff was super nice even though they could do nothing. I was so grossed out about the shower thing but it looked clean enough overall. The bed was very uncomfortable, box spring was probably broken. We woke up with back pain to go in a shower half filled with water from the night before. This place looks kind of ok but is pretty run down and not well maintained. It’s nice to have a full kitchen… If you’ll use it (we didn’t). Close to a mall and restaurants. Also close to South Padre Island.

Coil spring mattresses were terribly uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult. These inexpensive low quality mattresses need to be replaced before I would stay there again. Every other aspect of the hotel was excellent.

Let me first say, I have NO complaints about the staff, they seemed nice and helpful. The property is showing its age, when the heat would turn on, it would make an incredibly loud noise, like a mini-explosion, and finally, in the early morning hours it just stopped working, my family and I were very cold. I will not be staying and feel like we overpaid.

This property was in a nice location...just close enough to everything, but in a reasonably quiet area. The property was pretty well maintained with a friendly staff. My only criticism would be the living room furniture. It was not very well kept (clean looking) and the couch was not very comfortable to sit in.
