"Absolutely beautiful property! We stayed for one night and enjoyed a lovely meal at the onsite restaurant, the extremely comfortable room and bed, and the generous breakfast cooked to order the following morning. I highly recommend this property."
"Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable.
Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. Thank you. "

Beautifully situated comfortable cottage and pottery, a perfect holiday base
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent holiday experience as always - fourth visit for us - did more and further walks and found some excellent spots for breakfast and lunches. Can’t be faulted. Highly recommend the Church House Inn nearby. Food and service is excellent. Portions are large so be careful not to order too much. All in all Ideally placed for many different days out and scenic walks."
"The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem!
The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated.
Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented.
All in all a very pleasant two night stay.
I would highly recommend, and have recommended The Anchor Inn to family and friends.
This will now be my go to place to stay when in the Plymouth area."
"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat out.
Although situated behind a pub it was very quiet.
