I understand that this is a lower cost property so I have lowered my expectations accordingly. With that said, here is where this property fell short, specific to my room (217). The bath tub is terribly stained with mildew, mold and rust spots. The round table in the room fell and nearly broke my toe when a placed my backpack on it. The top was not attached to the base (looked liked it broke off at one point and someone just set it back on). The hair dryer was not functional. There was gum stuck to the carpet.

The hotel smelled really bad. The room smelled like mildew. The shower was dirty and the shower head was nasty. Would not stay there again or recommend to anyone.

The cops were there when we arrived and arrested a woman for trespassing. A bunch of people outside yelling because cops there. The sheets had pubic hair and seaman all over them. The toilet had a turd and a months worth of dead bugs in it. We left and went to another hotel. I want my $ back please!!!!!

It was not clean at all. The bathroom floor hadn’t been swept out mopped. The bathtub had black footprints on the side. Also the toilet was disgusting. They didn’t clean our room at all.

Super 8 Brookshire
No Frills .. both lobby restrooms out of order , a big no-no. No coffee in room or lobby. You could tell they were only doing the minimum upgrades to keep the Wyndham name. For the price I would stay there again.

door would not lock, misaligned. too late to change room. sink and toilet has rings of rust or dirty rings. otherwise clean well kept. the non locking door to room is an absolute terror. this is HOUSTON !!

This is one of the worst hotels I stayed ever. The management is too bad and an Indian family staying in one room and running the hotel. they kept the elevator off and make us ride the stairs 3 stories. They put some pesticides and the whole corridor is suffocating and unhygienic. The room AC sometimes work sometimes not. The AC filters never changed TV don't work The Rooms having foods leftover and dirt. The water supply closed without any prior notice. The entire hotel smelling bad. Too bad to stay. Found foods under bed sheet and called the management to clean but they just gave replaced bed sheet to change yourself.

Room was available. However the 1st room he sent us to was not cleaned at all, beds not made. The room he gave us, beds were made but bath tub was dirty and so was the toilet. Wall had playdoh and sparkles on it. I have pictures...ugh!

It had all the bare necessities for good hospitality. The only complaints I have was that : 1. My bathroom light was on the fritz 2.They had only coffee, juice and muffins for breakfast 3. Two housekeepers had limited English speaking.

Overall the property looked great as was our stay. However the carpet was not detail clean and had a smell. Hair in the sink.

When I checked in I had a ring a bell - it took her eleven minutes to come to the counter. The welcome area had a foal odor. Needed my credit card in case I smoked, had extra visitors - told I would be charged for this only after I departed. An hour later my credit card had a $57.63 charge - when to counter - rang bell - waited for six minutes until someone appeared - told this charge would be credited to my account once they cleaned my room after I left. Not the same information I was told when I checked in. The following morning: only coffee was out - told at checkin time there would be toast, rolls, cereal and fruit - non of which was there when at 7:30 am. When to check out at 8:35 am - rang bell - several times - waited 17 minutes. Left the room key with a note with a note on the paper envelope saying I waited but I wanted a email confirmation sent to me. Would not recommend this motel/hotel to anyone. 😫
