"This was my first experience living in a tiny house. This one has plenty of space to relax and take in the quiet of its tranquil garden setting. Minimalist interior. Very clean. And you're just around the corner from Dutch Brothers coffee. A grocery store, too, is within walking distance or a short drive."
"The Heywood Hotel is a gem -- the property is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are so fun to chat with, and the personal touches left us with an experience that we will remember for a long time."

"The hotels location is great but the manager of the hotel, Austin, is a fantastic service professional. He is polite, kind and good at what he does. "
"The hotel is amazing the decor is top notch. It’s an amazing blend of classic and mid century modern. The rooms are amazing and the overall vibe is on point. "
South Congress Retreat - A Vibey Stay Close to Bars, Shops, Music Venues & Hikes
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at the South Congress house! The location is perfect for hitting a lot of the fun Austin restaurants but the neighborhood was still quiet. We were in walking distance of a couple of bars, coffee and food. The beds were comfy and pillows were cozy! "
"We had such an awesome stay! Lois is really great and really has created a Peaceful Haven - so much so that the two teens I was with hated leaving every time an activity was suggested (if you know teenagers, you know that’s high praise!). The space is super clean and well taken care of all around, on top of it being enchanting and a literal piece of art. The teens slept in the loft - the ladder was a bit treacherous for me (not the ladder’s fault!).The bathroom is small but it’s a small place, so not a problem. Lots of towels and toiletries to use.Keep in mind when eating out the fridge is basically a dorm/cube fridge. A to go box from Home Slice will not fit :-)Lastly - location, location, location. You can’t beat the location, especially if you want to spend time at Zilker Park.We loved our stay and will be back!"
"We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group of six. There were plenty of amenities, including laundry, which was so convenient. The pool was amazing and the A/C worked perfectly to keep us comfortable during the hot summer days. The location was great—close to everything we needed—while still being in a nice, quiet area. The host was extremely responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We had so much fun here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!"
