Surroundings: Schwansen, as this region on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast is called, is a peninsula. Situated between the Eckernförde Bay and the Schlei, where you will also find Deekelsen and the country doctor. A holiday paradise for individualists and families. A paradise for getting to know the country and its people. To go hiking or cycling. For horse riding, swimming, simply to relax and unwind. That's what this country is all about. The Baltic seaside resort of Schönhagen has a long tradition of hospitality. Night owls will find nice discos in Damp, Dörphof and Eckernförde. Even if you want to breathe in the clear sea air in autumn and winter, you don't have to miss out on swimming in the sea water. There are seawater wave pools in Damp and Eckernförde.
