      Great Property

Had a lovely holiday with family in this property in September great location. We had been told about the upstairs shower not working before we arrived so we were able to work round this fantastic home and would love to stay again soon. Brilliant host any queries we had Clodagh came back to us straight away. Heather

        Beautiful Letting in Brittas Bay

Gorgeous property in lovely location 5 minute walk from the beach. Communication with the owner Clodagh was great if we had an issue she rectified it straight away. There was an issue with the plumbing as the sink was draining slowly, but the next day the plumber was there fixing it. The upstairs bathroom was locked when we arrived for a couple of days until we contacted Clodagh who asked the caretaker, Karl to unlock the door. We would have been disappointed if we didn’t have the use of the upstairs bathroom facilities as we had elderly parents staying with us. We were originally advised that the shower leaked and asked not to use it, but we didn’t expect the bathroom to be locked. However, this was rectified straight away. We did have to wash crockery when we arrived as there was cereal and food on them from previous guests about 4 bowls down from the top and the cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch when we got there so that’s why we’ve only given 3 stars for that and there were marks on the shower screen too as if it hadn’t been touched. However we did not mention this to Clodagh as we thought it would be petty and it didn’t affect our stay. I’m sure if we had complained she would have dealt with it. Gorgeous trimmed garden with loads of room for kids to play. Lots of balls and play activities provided which saved us buying them. Perfect holiday. Only downside was the shocking electricity bill, 140 euros for a weeks worth of electricity for 6 of us! Thought we were supplying the whole estate with electricity at that price. We only use that in 2 months in England. We did ask Clodagh to look into it for us, but she must have forgotten to get back to us. Don’t let that put you off though just get showered at the beach during your holiday ha ha! Amazing holiday we miss the house so much even though there were a couple of hiccups!

          Home from Home

Stayed Easter week with family, both sets of grandparents & dog. The property had great internal and external space for all including decking and back garden. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The only negative was the freely accessible on-site games room had been vandalised over time and needs upgrading with control measures put in place. The booking process was painless and Clodagh, the owner could not do more to make our stay enjoyable - even arranging a new replacement for the faulty toaster when we hadn't requested one! Great place to stay - to explore the beautiful surrounding area including 4km beach within short walking distance.

            Excellent location and fantastic property.

If you are looking for a quiet and secure property, in a fantastic location, this is perfect. Short drive from Arklow and Wicklow with everything you could possibly need. Will certainly head back there time and time again. The owner was very responsive with questions and clarifications. Overall a fantastic week for the family.

              Perfect relaxation spot

Clodagh's place was perfect for us, spacious, comfortable, clean and within 40 mins drive of most key sights in the local area (e.g. Powerscourt, Glendalough, Avoca). The garden is big and would be a nice safe space for kids to play in. The beautiful beach is 3 mins drive away but you could walk it. Great for seal spotting! The Bay cafe is well worth a visit - we got more cakes from there than we should have!
