"Conveniently located near Bristol Temple Meads"
Needed a hotel near Bristol's railway station and we chose the Hilton Garden Inn. Very convenient for a short visit to central Bristol and our evening at the Bristol Old Vic. The room was well designed to make the most of a small space. I thought it was a pleasant room for a chain hotel. We had view over the garden--quiet. My only issue was with the comfort of the bed. We both found it a little hard.

"Quiet location, friendly staff. Good value."
Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting family. Comfy bed in clean good sized room. There was a large wedding party on the night we stayed but our room was in the hotel mews and was very quiet.

"Luxurious and Child Friendly at the same time"
Lovely touches for children (my sister and I visited with my almost three year old). My son loved his bedtime milk and cookies, activity pack and swim during the child friendly times. The staff were helpful and very friendly and the restaurant food was delicious and although a place for a special meal was also relaxed enough for my toddlers dinner. Very impressed and would certainly book again if I'm in the area. I live in London and frequent 5* hotels and felt at home. Recommend!

"Too far away from main centre if you have no car."
We chose this hotel as we thought it was more central to the main shopping/restaurant area etc. When we arrived we realised it was a 25 minute walk from the main area and was hidden at the back of a business park. Hotel itself was ok, clean but nothing special.

"Comfortable lounge and pleasant dining room"
Staff on reception and serving in dining room were very friendly, albeit service was a little slow in the dining room. Food was good without being exceptional. The lounge next to reception is very comfortable and cosy. My bedroom was clean but lacked any charm or anything to make it stand out from any other I have stayed in. Overall I think the hotel offers reasonable value and is handy for the A38. It also had ample perking for a hotel of this size. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.
