"An ornate and fancy hotel located in central Brost"
I stayed here when passing through to attend a wedding in August. Very pleased with the quality of the room and its central location was great for allowing me to explore Bristol. Whilst slightly on the dear side I enjoyed the experience and the pool and sauna were truly excellent. However the breakfast wasn't as good (though still perfectly fine) and the coffee offered was far too strong. Overall an enjoyable experience and I would stay again.

"Business stay for a few days"
I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights on a business trip. It was nice and the room was clean but not that spacious. The staff were lovely, and there is a retail park across with a supermarket and cafes, restaurants. The blanket had a stain on it and I expected them to change the duvet cover, but all what the did was flip it over! Housekeeping is kind of disappointing with that attitude. I would not recommend this place unless it is the last resort. The front desk staff were amazing though.

"Modern business hotel"
This is a modern business hotel in a mostly office area near the railway station. I stayed over a bank holiday weekend. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Building and rooms in good condition. My room (a queen bed one) was quite small but well laiid out. Breakfast buffet had a good selection.

"Great setting, not-so-great housekeeping "
The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is very tastefully decorated. The staff at the front desk were lovely and ready to help! The room was very clean when we came in as well. We paid extra for a king-size and it was perfect. It is an old building, but with good facilities, good WiFi, up-to-date TV and all. The one thing that let us down a bit was the housekeeping. We stayed for 2 nights as we were going to a wedding on the second day, in the morning. We had to get ready quickly in the morning so left a few bits sitting out, like makeup on the bathroom counter and sandwich wrappers on the coffee table. On returning after the wedding, the bed sheets had been tucked in and that was pretty much it. The bed cushions were scattered on the floor, the sandwich wrappers were still on the coffee table, a towel I had used was left in a heap on the bed, and the mugs of tea were left as I had used them, they didn't even replace the tea bags and milk. So that was a bit of a downer. Everything else was pretty good though so I would probably stay again.

"Very friendly staff great with children"
On arrival staff were freindly and professional and happy to answer our questions. Room on first stay amazing we were upgraded to a suite from a family room with no extra cost but the family room on our second stay was nice. Pool lovely and little girl got a spa robe to which she loved. Restaurant was managed well and staff very friendly and accommodating. This hotel was a great half way stop for us with 2 young children on our way to and back from Cornwall would highly recommend.

"No frills but clean and comfortable !"
This is a clean friendly hotel with super comfortable beds and which serves a great breakfast. Bar good as we're bar meals and located within 5 minutes walk of the train station. My only issue was with parking and paying fees beforehand but none of the hotels have parking and there are car parks near by. Not great though if you have lots of luggage. I would definitely stay there again.

"Nice hotel close to church for a family wedding"
Staff were very friendly and efficient on arrival. The receptionist escorted me and carried my luggage to my room. The room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. I had a cooked breakfast which was very nice but I felt there could have been a bigger and better selection of pastries on offer if you were just having a Continental Breakfast - e.g. there were no Croissants or Pain au Chocolat - a common favourite of many people I would say. I was attending a family wedding at a local church at 1pm and standard check out was 11am - I was most grateful that the staff enabled me to have a slightly later check out time so that I did not have to sit around in my wedding outfit too long and could get ready in a leisurely way. I would definitely recommend.
