"Lovely hotel great location"
We were not expecting too much as the price was so good. We were in for a big surprise. The position of the hotel is perfect for everything in the city centre and the shopping areas and very easy to get to and park. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was perfect for the three of us with lots of room even with two double beds. The whole hotel was extremely clean and very well decorated to make you feel very comfortable when returning after a show. The breakfast was excellent value and the fact that kids eat free a real bonus. Another very nice touch was the games that were put out for the kids. This kept them occupied whilst parents had a hard earned drink and also kept them quiet! Well done Novotel Bristol. We will certainly be back and tell all our friends.

"Good Hotel "
Doesn't look great from the outside but modern and well finished on the inside. Checkin did take a bit longer than necessary. The rooms are very good with everything you could need. I particularly liked the usb power outlets next to the bed for charging my phone. Breakfast was good and decently priced. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Overall a good experience.

"Lovely country hotel with great facilities"
We were greeted warmly on arrival and were given our room keys early as we had an afternoon event to attend. This allowed us to freshen up after a three hour journey. The venue was lovely for an afternoon party and staff were very helpful. In the evening about 15 of us stayed for dinner and were accommodated in the restaurant, even though we had not pre-booked and food was brought to the table very quickly. There was another large party as well as ours and we were both quite noisy, but the atmosphere was very relaxed and we didn't feel that anyone was bothered by us (we hope not). Staff were pretty laid back and just unobtrusively worked around us keeping tables clear etc. The bedroom was large with a super huge bed and was very quiet although other guests reported some distant traffic noise, so if this would bother you ask for a room facing away from the road. I was in room 206 on the first floor and it had a nice view of a lawn. The only reason I have given four starts for facilities is because there was no mirror over the dressing table, so I had to try and dry my hair in the full length mirror on another wall, which was a bit weird. Other than that, I can't complain. BTW - the tea and coffee sachets are in a secret compartment under the cups!
