"Brilliant location and friendly staff"
Chose this place for its quick access (15 mins on foot) to the railway station and quayside, central location. Also has a dated (seventies?) French charm about it....quirkily-shaped but well-designed rooms. Excellent shower, separate to bath. Welcoming, professional staff, and smooth check-in. Didn't sample any restaurant fare as went out to explore the city's cafes on the doorstep.

"Good location, plesant hotel"
Pleasant staff, clean rooms. The dining room a little overcrowded but you can spill over into the bar area. Easy to get to from Temple Meads station - the Bristol Ferry stops at the City Centre and it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel, only a 20 minute walk from the station or there are plenty of buses. I will definitely stay here again.

"Lovely grounds"
The hotel is very clean and the food in the brasserie is good. However, service is quite slow and checking out was also slow as not enough staff were on duty - not great if you need to leave for work commitments. However I would recommend this hotel.
