Great location for access to South Brisbane Museums and galleries. But facilities in room old, tatty and not very clean. Nice bed though and lovely staff. (Just building needs a refurb)

This hotel needs a total refurbishment. It’s not in a very good location right next to the highway! The curtains/carpets are filthy & the room smelt musty & awful! We needed to check out a day early but would have done so even if we didn’t need to.

The location is excellent, but the hotel is old and tired. There were so many things loose and moldy in the bathroom. I guess you get what you pay for, but unless they renovate, we won't be back. renovate

Overall good facilities, was smelly in room as curtsins need a good wash or throw them out. Also some problems with sewerage smell in bathroom. Tv did not work but receptionist quickly rectified staff friendly and helpful!

The worst hotel experience, the front desk service was not good, and there was a huge gap between the online pictures and the actual results. The room smelled loud and the noise was loud. There is no beautiful view as seen on the website. Everything is uncomfortable.

Rough Round the edges, but adequate.
I stay at the riverside hotel for a week ,location was superb. Hotel had a pool, which was not a massive size,but very refreshing. Condition of the room wasn't great, furniture seemed very old (bed falling falling to pieces, even though i slept well, and air conditioning was not in a good condition, but functional. Staff at reception were very friendly & helpful, particularly Michael.

Very old room, never updated
The hotel room was very old with original fixtures and furniture that were very dated and worn. This was a 3 star hotel at best with a $225 per night rate. Would not recommend.

Fabulous Customer Service
Eliza in Reception is a Goddess of Customer Service and friendliness. Quiet and clean one bedroom unit although the renovations that ongoing are needed as it is a bit tired. Great location for walk around.

Not very impressed with the size of the room and the bathroom was tiny and very poorly maintained, dripping tap, shower screen fixed pane not secure, water dripping from under the sink, no extractor fan. Amenities were very poor in as much as four stale sachets of coffee and one biscuit does appear sparce. The kettle was the cheapest kettle in production and wouldn't fit under the tap in the sink to be filled. Other guests behaved atrociously till 2 a.m. and no security was on hand. I felt unsafe and unsatisfied so left a day early. On a plus note the staff were nice and restaurant very good. The rooms were clean. The whole hotel was a bit shabby and needs updating.

Very handy to use as a base. Room was okay, nothing flash just very basic. Had issues with getting toilet paper, hand towels and spoons as these varied depending on house keeping. For what you pay it’s worth it if you just need a roof over your head. I would not recommend the restaurant and would suggest eating off site for dinners and only use the on site restaurant for breakfast buffet. We would stay again as over all it was not too bad.

Located in a convenient location. Incudes parking which is a convenience after a long drive to the accommation. I was disappointed in the restaurant this visit compared to previous stays. Food was not enjoyable at all. Staff are friendly and venue is clean.

The rooms smelled of sewage from an odor coming from the bathroom. Closing the door did not help and it was very uncomfortable. On top of that i stayed for a week and was not given new towels, soap or tissue paper even though i left a note to ask for more. DO NOT STAY HERE.
