Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Thought has been put into everything in this hotel. It is great value for the cost. The breakfast was great. I apprecieted the little extras that the hotel offers, like infused water in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, walk from the hauptbahnhof, ubahn outside the door. The German Soccer museum is a couple of minutes walk away and there is easy access to Signal Iduna Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice very clean room.
Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, quilt was too thin.
Staff were quite blunt.

Clean, modern hotel, nice sized room but no staff ! Self check-in, and no cot for baby as requested - no reception staff to help sort it out.
Saturday night was very noisy - poor sound proofing and again no staff to complain to and sort it out

Very nice hotel experience spoilt by being stopped by police as I pulled into street of the hotel - I think it’s a scam to fine tourists- I had to pay €30 twice as ‘it was my lucky day’ that I wasn’t being charged €250. I was stopped because I’d gone though a red light - untrue- in fact I’d pulled out of a petrol station immediately before turning into hotel street. How convenient they were waiting close to the hotel!
Aside from that unpleasant experience the hotel is very comfortable and clean good shower and excellent breakfast in a very pleasant dining area with nice view. Staff were friendly if a bit depressed.

"Ich habe statt Basis-Zweibettzimmer ein anderes Zimmer bekommen - Schlafwagon-Vierbettenzimmer, nicht wie ich es gebucht habe. Im Bad/Toilette war die Tür kaputt und ging gar nicht zu. Es gab keinen Haartrockner und auch keine Seife. Statt Parkettboden, war im Zimmer Holzdielenboden. Das Fenster ..."

"We had a very pleasent stay at this house beautifully located at the edge of the forest, directly at the Rothar Steig. The house has everything you may need for an active stay in the Sauerland and is very comfortable. We will definetly stay again."
