I really loved this hotel! I would recommend it to everyone staying in Vienna. It was in a perfect location and walkable to the main shopping area. The restaurants were also close by and next door was the famous Central Cafe. The staff is fantastic. The hotel was very quiet and their breakfast was really good. Would stay there again when I visit again.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room had everything we need and extra upon request. We used a pillow service and really enjoyed lavender pillows. The amenities, location and staff are top notch and we'd recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely return ourselves.

The Steingenberger hotel is ideal for seeing Vienna as it is within walking distance of many major sites to see. The rooms were nicely decorated and well-maintained. The hotel staff was terrific at giving us ideas of what to do with our time (and what not to do!). We had a walking tour from a different company that canceled and the front desk got us a last minute substitute who was tremendous. The breakfast buffet was extensive, fresh and tasty. I would recommend the Steigenberger without hesitation and will stay there again when we return!

Another excellent stay at Steigenberger Vienna.
This was our third stay at the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof, and once again it exceeded our expectations. The hotel's central location in the inner city of Vienna provides easy access to many of the city's attractions within a short walking distance. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, which allows for a stress-free trip from the airport to the hotel for a reasonable price of 4.40 Euros. During our stay, we opted for a Deluxe room with a King size bed. The room was impeccably clean, and its modern design made us feel as if we were the first guests to use it. The bed itself was incredibly comfortable, and the pillow menu allowed us to choose our preferred pillows for a perfect night's sleep. We also appreciated the daily refills of the minibar with beers and soft drinks. The breakfast served at the hotel is simply amazing. With an endless buffet of options to choose from, we were spoiled for choice. The freshly made eggs and the wide variety of coffees and teas were particularly noteworthy. Last but not least, the front desk staff at the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof, and without a doubt, it will be our first choice when we return to Vienna.

Excellent property! Clean spacious rooms and excellent breakfast! The room was a bit cold at night despite the heat being on highest setting and that is my only complaint. Highly recommend close to everything!

Hotel is in a great location Within walking distance to all the sights. Few minutes walk to the Rathaus Christmas market and cafe central a few steps away. The U Bahn is right outside the hotel so great access to everywhere around the city. Room was lovely very clean and spacious. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection.

Excellent location — very near the Sisi Museum/Hofsburg Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Cafe Central, shopping. Staff were generally great, especially at check-in (notably Mr Ahmed Sehr and Aldwyn, who were professional and warm; and who also made it a point to greet the guests every night when we returned from dinner). However, it was a little chaotic with the bellhop service for luggage collection at check-out.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this hotel. Very comfortable bed in a spacious room, very clean. There was even a pillow menu (but ours were great so no need to change) Nice bar and dining area. Fantastic choice at the buffet breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Location of the hotel was perfect.
