Pros: Location, staff, breakfast,
Cons: Car park was double the price of another much better car park 50 metres away! 1 bed per person
The hotel was rather grand, but my children and I were disappointed that despite booking a room for 1 adult and 2 children (aged 10 & 12), we had to share a bed. Another drawback was the lack of a bath. The 2 beds we did have were very comfy, the staff were great and the breakfast was absolutely super.

The hotel was very comfortable but as I was in Brighton for a family member's funeral the experience was only as good as it could be in the circumstances

Central location

Posted 31-Aug-2017
Central location only five minutes from restaurant and shops. Opposite the British airways i360. Good swimming pool. Very big hotel with lots of people visiting for functions etc. Waterhouse restaurant not ideal more like a bar, not great for family dinning. Parking was easy to find although expensive.

Perfect but get up early if you want to eat!!

On arrival as alawaus staff were very inviting and polite. The room was a king sar view with balcony on 3rd floor, lovely views spotlessly clean with a huge bed. When the windows were closed there was absolutely no traffic noise which is a plus for a light sleeper, my only complaint was the horrendous queues for breakfast in the morning which was included in the price of the room, there were people queuing right across the reception area. This spoilt what was a lovely overnight stay, my partner and I opted to have breakfast elsewhere. Apart from that the hotel as ever was wonderful .

Great location , friendly staff and good breakfast

Posted 28-Aug-2017
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay after reading previous reviews . Staff were very friendly on check in and throughout our stay . It is an old hotel so certain things look tired but overall it is a very grand hotel and our bathroom was lovely. Definitely recommend it.
