Nice warm welcome on arrival
Lovely guest house, absolutely lovely lady that ran it, we had a really nice warm welcome, and homemade biscuits on arrival. Very clean comftable room.

Nice little guest house !

We were booked in for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary but we had to leave early as our daughter was rushed to hospital the lady was very understanding and said we could go back another time to finishbour stay. The hotel was very clean the room were love plenty of room to moive around the bathroom was spotless. The check-in was very smooth amd the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice we will definitely be back

Absolutely perfect
Adorable little b&b, clean nothing too much trouble, staff were lovely, breakfast delicious with lots of choice, great location, it was my birthday and received chocs and a card which was a lovely surprise, would highly recommend

We had a lovely room very bright and airy. The bed was comfy, plenty of tea and coffee available. There were lots of little extra touches that included bathrobes and a variety of soaps and creams and other accessories in the bathroom. The only negative was the shower over the bath, we found this a little troublesome to use. The standard of cleanliness was outstanding and the staff and the owner were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We we’re pleased that a parking permit had been arranged for the duration of our stay. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely return. No title just really nice stay
Very clean and airy bright room, pleasant staff felt very comfortable. If there was one critisism it would be the little shower, but above all great comfortable and highly recommended will be sending approval to friends and family.

Stayed for the weekend. Beautiful guest house. Close to the beach, shops and rides. Nice local pubs. Beautiful breakfast, friendly staff. Can't do enough for you. Will definitely go again.

Very good clean and quiet Guest house. Great thought to detail. Close for walking to the promenade . Good bicycle storage very safe and secure. Fabulous full breakfast set me up for the day cycling. Ideal for a single traveler.

Lovely B&B. Close to the sea and all amenities. Nice room, clean, comfy bed. Ann the host was very friendly couldn't do enough for you. Very nice breakfast. Will return next visit to Bridlington.

The personal attention given was exceptional, really clean and comfortable accomodation which included toiletries and gowns. An amazing choice for breakfast was offered. Ann was very helpful with suggestions of where to go and how to get there and even provided some freshly baked cookies. Absolutely faultless and will definitely book a stay there again.

Substandard Accommodation
It all started from the moment the owner escorted us to our unchosen room (room 6). When we arrived in the room it looked (cozy) v small. Then with closer inspection it became apparent that the en-suite facility didn’t include a sink within but positioned in the bedroom. The shower itself was minute a converted store cupboard approximately the width of wc, while sitting on the wc your knees touched the shower cubicle. The shower is designed for someone who is extremely thin. We couldn’t get the light to work in the shower cupboard and with the door closed you were in immediate darkness. We called for the owner who advised the light was a mobile push button that omitted minimum luminary’s.....I asked to move rooms and was told there weren’t any available which wasn’t the truth as the sign on the exterior door said vacancies..... I asked for my money back and prepared to book elsewhere and was told I couldn’t be refunded ...... wont be revisiting or recommending this Accommodation

Dear Gary Hopefully you were less stressed with your journey back home than that getting to Bridlington. We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, we do our best to make sure everyone is happy. You had booked (double en-suite) Room 6, which is the room you were shown to and is the one pictured on all booking sites. We also regret that we could not accommodate your request for a free upgrade; all our rooms were booked for that night. Your suggestion that the guests who had booked the king size room but had not yet arrived could be put in your room, commenting further that they wouldn't know the difference, also could not be accommodated, despite your threat of a negative review. We treat all guests equally, fairly and with respect.

Truly exceptional
Very nice B&B. Ann (the host) is very knowledgeable about events and amenities in the locality. There are many bars pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance the "Old Town" is well worth a visit and is about a 20 minute walk, if you get tired of the fish and chip shops and the amusement arcades. The accommodation comfortable and spotless, Ann must spend all her time cleaning. The freshly cooked to order breakfast is second to none for quality. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending Swandale. Book with confidence.

Lovely stay at this B&B very friendly owner stored our bikes as we’d completed the Way of the Roses great location as not far from finishing point. Great breakfast and a nice room lots of little extras from toiletries to dressing gowns would stay again.

Generally the property was excellent, I didn’t have a toilet or bathroom in my room but this was not a deal breaker for me. Everything was clean and well presented and the proprietor made me feel most welcome. I was using the property as a place to rest overnight as I was working in the local area so I didn’t sample breakfast, but the owner offered to wake up early to prepare breakfast ahead of there normal meal times. It’s a place I’d definitely return to and the price was reasonable given it was summer.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Great location to the beach. Only criticism was the check in and check out. Not sure the details on Expedia are correct as I rang to let them know we would be later checking in and was told i had to be there by 7pm or couldn't check in at all. Our check out was 10am and not 11am as was on my details (which i only found at 10:30am as i was still in the room!) The only hotel details we were given at check in were the keys.

It was a special event for you gorgeous ladies, so I feel so bad that your check out time was wrong on your confirmation. I've been in touch with Expedia, who cannot find a reason for it, and have resent your confirmation which gives the correct check-out time. You showed me your copy which definitely said 11am, so we are at a loss, it looks like one of those wee gremlins in the works. We are so sorry to have disturbed you. We are flexible with check-ins too, as long as we know so that we can plan around later/earlier check ins.

the appearance was the first thing that caught my eye very well kept garden area and inside it was just the same spotlessly clean and even with children staying at the property it was very quiet i would definately recommend this property
