Misleading photos
As the photos showed a gated drive we believed the cottage to have off road parking. We would not have booked had we known we would have to park down the road. No where did it start it was on road parking (We both have disabilities affecting our walking). Overall cleanliness could have been better as there was 5 resident spiders in the room with single beds one of which woke me at two in the morning walking across my back. Those aside it was a lovely old cottage which we would use again if it had parking.

Lovely, spacious accommodation
The property was spotless, larger than expected with three rooms. Excellently furnished and equipped. No WIfi could present problem for those needing access. Stairs winding, care to be taken. Upstairs, excellent. Beds slightly soft but very clean. Spacious and plenty of wardrobe space. Garden nice. Spar Close and another small shop. Babbling Brook an excellent pub a couple of miles away.

Lovely short break
Had a lovely 5 days at Quantock Cottage, a very warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you open the front door. Very clean and decorated in keeping to the cottage and making it very cozy and homely. Lovely walks to take our dog on right from the front door, lots of history in the village. Everything thought of in the cottage, a home from home with a lovely garden too. Nice log burner but no kindling left so had to buy some to be able to use it but once up and going it was a lovely cozy feature and the kids loved it. Had our food shopping delivered with no problems finding the property. Visted Weston-Super-Mare, Wooky Hole and Cheddar Gorge which are all about hour or just over to get to but worth it. Julie was lovely host and getting in touch was very easy and prompt replies too. No WiFi in the cottage but that was a bonus for my partner and I and to be fair my teenage son and daughter didn’t struggle too much not being able to use it and enjoyed their holiday just as much. Would recommend for sure and you won’t be disappointed with your stay. Thankyou Julie.

Handy location
A well-kept quaint cottage in a useful spot: a short drive to hills and beaches. Watch out for low ceilings!
