Location: Good location....Right beside Cracker Barrel
Ok if just stopping overnight. The beds were not comfortable and very squeaky. The toilet was not cleaned properly. The sheet on the bed moved all over...not a good fit. Older facility that could you a do over.

Annette, I do express regret about your recent visit. We are in the course of updating the hotel we are working on the bed linen and have started with the blankets and the next thing will be our pillows. We hope that if you are ever passing through again you stop in and see us.

Room and beds were fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor. Staff said deliveries did not come when they should have.

I am glad that over all you had an enjoyable stay with us we do enjoying hearing guest feedback letting us know they had a nice stay. Our breakfast is brand standard and we offer everything that is required by Wyndham. We were running low on yogurt that weekend and I do apologize for that issue we have spoken with the people in charge of our supplies to insure this does not occur again.

HORRIBLE

Room had a horrible odor that made me have a migraine. There was a dirty washcloth laying beside the toilet. There was no hand towel. Overall very disappointed in the cost and cleanliness of the room.

Rebecca, I am sorry about your room any time you have an issue please contact the front desk and we will get it taken care of right away for you. We are in the process of painting and cleaning the carpets in all of our rooms and we do apologize for any odor issues this may cause. We want our guest to have an enjoyable stay when they are here at with us. I have spoken with our Executive housekeeper in regards to the issues with the wash cloth and hand towels to ensure this will not happen again in the future.

Hotel close enough to wvu

Stayed one night for WVU football game (about 30 min up the highway). Front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Continental breakfast was so-so.

Convenient location to Fairmont. Cracker Barrell a few steps away. Comfortable bed and A/C worked. Electronic card keyed door worked fine for me, but some guests had to have it reset repetitively. Breakfast was free but only coffee, juices, cereal, frozen waffles and bread to toast, and a packaged small pastry.

My wife and I booked this hotel for one night and never stayed. We got to the hotel, checked in and went to the room. We are both smokers, so we booked a smoking room. When we got in the room, it smelled like stale cigarette smoke so bad that we were choking on the smell. We tried to open the widow to let a little fresh air in to help, but the window was bolted closed. We left to get something to eat and when we got back to the room, we grabbed our things and checked out. The room and our stay would have been ok if the smell would not have been so strong. The only way that I would recommend anyone to stay there would be if the hotel staff learned how to clean and deodorize the room to reduce the stale cigarette smoke. I've been to other hotels and stayed in smoking rooms and never had this type of issue before. Very sad way for my wife and I to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

Too little for too much

Run down and poorly kept. Breakfast was a joke hallways stank of smoke someone stole gas from my van.
