Life's Good Retreat Bear Cottage

Nestled in a central location, our cottage retreat is close to all the main attractions. A mere 30-minute trip will take you to The Pretty Place, while a picturesque 45-minute drive leads to the Biltmore Estate. Only 10 minutes away, discover the delightful shops of Brevard, NC—a town recognized by USA Today as one of the Top 10 small towns to visit. Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Transylvania, NC. Life's Good Creekside Cottage promises to leave you with enduring memories.

The cottage features two bedrooms: a full-size bedroom on the ground floor. The second bedroom is a queen-sized loft situated above a full living room, full bath and a fully-equipped kitchen, providing all the amenities necessary for preparing meals and snacks. On the front porch, a firepit and cozy seating invite you to relax and enjoy the evening beside the rolling stream.

Our onsite parking lot offers lots of space. With sidewalk access to all cottages, you can easily wheel your suitcases right through the door.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect weekend getaway! We chose this location because it was close to Pretty Place. The rental was clean and very updated with lots of fun features! Melissa stayed in touch with me and made sure we had everything we needed!

Cozy cottage

I can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. The cottage had everything that I needed and is extremely close to town if you need to get supplies. The shower is amazing!!! The owner is extremely nice. She made sure I checked in ok and gave me a list of recommendations of places to eat. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Nice getaway

Overall good experience. The cabin is new clean and very modern. We all loved the bathroom and large shower. Peaceful remote location is what I was looking for. Complete with a white squirrel. Check in was a little confusing but another guest at the property gave us a number to call for a code. Wi-Fi was a little iffy and made it hard to watch TV. My only complaint is the insurance I had to buy has been a constant spam attack.
