Ridiculous amount of procedures for a BOOKING!!!

I have stayed before and it was good value we enjoyed it.
I had 26 guests come to the hotel for my birthday, from all over England and Wales.
Sadly the process of booking anything is absolutely ridiculous I have been trying to book the restaurant for two weeks so that we had tables together I have telephoned calls etc. 1.5 hours before dining we still were messed around even on the very night and we didn't get the seating we were promised. I have also tried to book the VIP another nightmare numerous calls running around on the evening back and forward to reception when I should been with my guests! the £150 wasn't worth it the wine was poor and the table was not cleared of glasses the whole evening it was very disappointing. yesterday the hotel even ringing my guests about the Living Social voucher the place and the set up could be really good the staff did their best but the administration process is inconvenient, lack of information, time consuming and never have I experienced anything like it. I did ask about a discount but couldn't be bothered in the end! too much hassle! Sue
